Absolutely! When Kermit doesn't recognize his friends in the diner... Ugh. So depressing.We've sorta decided in my family that the movie just wins hands down for most depressing muppet movie in general, what with their dreams being crushed at the end and then everyone breaking up and then Kermit getting amnesia.
I don't know if anyone's mentioned Muppets From Space yet (I'm sure someone has, but I really don't feel like reading all 45 pages of this thread at the moment), but I finally bought it and watched it for the first time today. The end of the movie is definitely a tear-jerker. I just about lost it when Gonzo and Rizzo exchanged their goodbyes. I cried when Gonzo ultimately decided to stay on Earth with the gang, too, but those were happy tears.
