Tweety is only girlish because merchandising has girl-ified him. He doesn't have to be, but because no guy is gonna wear a shirt with a bobble-headed, big eyed canary on it, they put him on girls stuff. And to make girls want stuff with him on it, they surround him in flowers, palm trees and the like.
