Dear family,

I hope all is well with you. My mother is doing just fine, or so we think. Seems as if she was wanting someone to take her to Europe. So the doctor said to humor her and we leave today for a tour. Really, all this fuss and scaring Adam and myself just for a vacation. All she had to do was ask. Anyway, we leave in a few for a week stay. After this I'm insisting that she come and live with me. So, father, be a dear and clear out your office and convert it into a bedroom. Yes, and tell Vic to wake up and do something productive. All this sleep isn't good for him. Oh yes, Father, take good care of the twins. Don't let them get zapped into your brother Dan-Don's plate again. That and Kyle I'm sure your new girlfriend is lovely, I can't wait to meet her. Now remember keep the Yak and Bigfoot outside the house, and feed the dog the dog food the Vet prescribed. No table food for Dog!

*reads postcard, while absently feeding Dog the crusts of a sandwich*

Off to Europe? Good gracious.Clear out my office for a balmy mother-in-law! Oh my. I need to think about this.

*Aunt Dan Dan drops down from ceiling holding an 8 ball and a lump of cheese *

*Aunt DanDan enters wearing "I <heart> Narnia shirt*

You'll never guess where I've been. Now if you'll excuse me, i want to eat the twins. I even brought my own condinents. Wait, this isn't salt; it's a severed toe. Oh well, you win some you lose some.

*Returns home and sorts through mail.
Oh hello Isabelle, mail's here. Hmmm, a postcard from Christy.
*Reads postcard. Ah, that's a relief. She was worrying us all, Christy, Lauraly and myself. Would like to go with them, but I have exams to administer at Magic School now that classes for this term are over. And then there's the graduating class to tend to and all their activities.

*Gets message from Bo on the phone. What? Dan-Dan's still insisting on eating the babies? Well, didn't want to have to do it, but I'll take care of it.
Excuse me Izzy, I need a few things from the cupboards. Some wolfbane root, a pinch of black pepper, a quart of boiled blood, yes that'll do.

*Gathers ingredients in cauldron pot on stove while carefully cooking.
And now a toadstool and a piece of DanDan's shirt that got snagged at the restaurant...
*Casting spell to affect DanDan's mind.

*This spell will only last until Christy comes back and is able to watch after the twins again.
*The spell will continually confuse DanDan and make him/her/it think of some prior engagement every time he/she/it thinks of eating the twins, therefore defeating the impulse to eat the twins.
