*tucked up in bed*
*out cold*
*dreams...*
Dark night. Wind howls. Fog. A huge ship...looms in the mist. A small boat is lowered from the large ship, it's bottom splashes against cold waves.
Christy appears through the swirls.
Christy: Mac! Take the boat! Go! Go! Go!!!
Father lands on the deck, in his dream, walking across the wooden panels.
Christy. Throws a rope over the edge, down to Mac and the crew, casting off.
Christy: You have to find Father, Beauregard Parker Moppet. You have to tell him.
Mac: Tell him what lass! Come with us!
Christy: I cannot.
In his dream, Father walks towards them. The small boat moves away, swallowed in the mist. Mac yells for Christy to join them. Christy, turns away, firm, decided. Moves to the helm.
Father, walks up behind her.
Christy: You are going to have to let me go.
The wind screams. Red, blue, green lights, strobing, flashing appear ahead. Christy holds the wheel steady.
Christy: Never forget, that I love you. Kiss the kids for me.
Father: Don't do this...
An explosion of black lightning rips the sky in two, and bright lights appear. Mother turns the wheel, the boat rises oversea foam waves, Father moves closer.
Father: I love you to.
And, dream-like, he flies backwards, zooming out on the sea vessel, as it is taken into the white light. The light fades. Darkness, fog.
Fathers eyes open.
In bed.
*returns to normal writing style*
Mac? Are you there?
Mac: Aye.
I know what happened.
Mac: Yes.
I don't know why.
Mac: No.
I won't see her again, huh.
Mac: *grins, slowly* Ahc, never say that, Moppet. Somehow, I don't beleive it.
Father: *closes his eyes*
(OOC: I hope to stay back! If not, carry on the regular Moppet Family stories minus Me for now!)
