At the Moppet's house........

Has anyone seen my sister anywhere? Me, her, Yakky and Biggy were going to go on our vacation. Since I haven't spent anytime with her I just thought we might be able to catch up on some things.

Vic R: What? You-were-'n't-go-ing-to-take-me-and-Ted.

Well since it's just me getting to know her better....yeah.

Vic R: But-what-a-bout-Yak-ky-and-Big-gy?

Vic R: Why-are-they-go-ing?

Just because their my pets and I just thought they would love to come along. Is this breaking your heart or should I say circuit.

Vic R: You-make-me-want-to-drain-wa-ter-out-of-my-sockets.

You'll be fine here. You can help by cleaning and.......cleaning uh...cleaning...

Vic R: You-al-ready-said-that.

You will be just fine. I promise. You'll have Vibs, Viq and Jena to play with.

Vic R: Bab-ies?

Yeah! Babies. You'll have lots of fun with them. (whispers) They have magic powers.

<tempers are raising>

Stranger: Don't need to...I know his type.

Mairin: Know his type?! All you know is his name.

Stranger: I still think he's no good.

Mairin: You're just jealous!

Stranger: What have I got to be jealous of?!

Mairin: Because I'm with him and not you!

Stranger: Oh yeah! Then where is he now?! Why are you here and not with him?!

Mairin: Then forget I ever brought it up!

Ah... That was a fine Sunday lunch Izzy dear... The salmon and mustard patties, delicious. Glad we cut them into little bite-size pieces for the girls. An old family stand-by, corn and peas and green beans salad with dried onions and mayo mixed in. The plantains and carrots complimented everything purrfectly. Think even Grandma K liked the small pieces of fried cod.

Now that the kitchen's cleared away and the dishes are in the machine... Think I'll do a bit of reading with the girls. I'll look after them for the afternoon so you can get some rest Izzy.
Maybe later we can stroll down to that quaint ice cream parlor.
*Kisses Izzy on the cheek and leaves, kittens waiting in the reading room.

Mairin: <she let's her arms fall to her sides> I'm sorry too...

Stranger: It seems we're always saying that...

Mairin: Yeah...I guess things haven't changed much...

Stranger: Things only change if you make an effort to change them...

Mairin: It's easier to run away...

Stranger: <he puts a hand on her shoulder> What's easy isn't always right...

You and me both. Like I had said before. Me and her were spoused to go on our vacation together. Now if I'm stuck here I'll have to do yard work. And I hate to do that. We have to fine her Jack. Seeing as your her new boyfriend. Even tho' that scares me.

That might work but I haven't seen it in years. Would you know where it is?

Oh yea. You weren't around those times. Well then it I guess we go look for it. Jack? Me and Yakky are going to look for it while you and Biggy gather some stuff up for the road trip. Meet back in 5 hours.
