A few more hours past

Where could that Yak be. I wonder if he went back....*remebers something from his past* Wait! I just had a flashback.

Vic R: You-humans-are-weird.

That's because your a robot and not a human. I didn't make you to were you could remember stuff.

Biggy: What was it you saw in your flashback?

It was christmas time. t was back when Iwas a kid. I was getting a present and didn't get what I wanted. That's when I met Yakky. I was out playing in the snow. My parents didn't let me go outside back when I was a kid. They were very protect of me. But since it was snowing outside they wanted me to enjoy it. Man did I love snow fights. Oh I couldn't get enough of them. I remember when one time I was....

Biggy: Uh Kyle? Could you get back to the flashback.

Whoops. Ok. So I was out playing in the snow and playing with Vic and his dog, Ted.

Vic R: You-could-not-have-been-play-ing-with-me.

I know that. I was meaning the real Vic and Ted. Hush! So as I was playing this hairy little animal ran me down. He ran me over. I couldn't get out of this animals way. So me and Vic ran after it. It was hiding in the bushes...

Biggy: Can you get to the point?

Ok. So I think that Yakky is trying to show me where my parents used to live.

Biggy: You mean your parents lived somewhere else other then where they live now?

Yes Biggy. That is exactly what I am saying.

Vic R: It-is-get-ting-to-be-dark.

Ok. Let's find a hotel or somewhere to stay.

Ted R: Woof-bark-woof-bark-bark.

Vic R: I-know-what-you-mean.

Both laugh in their robot voice pattern

Drat! I don't know how, but he's gotten out of range. I can't sense him anymore. He is going to be in so much trouble when I get my hands on him! A good, swift kick to the rear end will be in order!

Wait...you can't hear him. Adam said something about the candy shop. *thinks for a moment* Holy Peanut Butter Sandwiches. They'll be killed. Mairin we've got to hurry. You can't enter the island the way you leave. They've walked through the door. *looks around frantically finally spying a long forgotten row boat* Perfect! Help me with this would ya? *Mairin and Mother carry the boat inside the warehouse and beside the door* All right Jana, Vibs, Viq stay close keep your hands inside the boat and whatever you do no magic! We're on our own. The second we use it we'll be detected. Okay everyone in? *looks at the four nodding with their eyes wide, takes a deep breath* Let's go...*Mother opens the door and they begin down the way that Father and Jack went*

Father: *unconcious on a rocky beach underground*

*meanwhile on a ship not far out in the docks, Captain Hevej, pirate, was leaping into a rowing boat of his own*

Hevej: Yea's me hearties...heartie, that's I..yes me heartie it's off to candy land with ye. If that contact of mine speaks true then it's there that Mother will be a'waiting her beloved...*turns hurriedly to camera* Not that I have no spies on no Moppets...*turns away* *sniggers to self*

*meanwhile Mother is staring out into the mists of the underground. Quickly she motions to Mairin to stop rowing*

*softly she mutters*

Hevej! I shoulda known. Mairin to our right should be a little inlet cave. It's not far from Beau but a safe spot to where I can change and prepare. He might be Beau's best friend but I don't trust him...not one bit..

 

[Beauregard]

Havej: *moves through door and leaps into the water, swims towards the beach where Father is lying* From what I 'ear he's lost his mind...not that this should be an un-usual event for Moppet. Mayhaps I can bring 'im back...

Mother stands in the shadows unseen by Hevej. She has changed from her normal housewife attire of skirt and t-shirt into her old pirate clothes. The smell of salt drifts upwards and she breathes deeply. Stealthily she draws her sword and quietly watches Hevej and Father on the beach.

 

[Beauregard]

Hevej approaches Father and taps him on the shoulder. He pokes him with the toe of his boot. He turns Father over and slaps his face. He splashes him with water, shakes him...all to no avail.

Hevej: Why me? *drops Father back on the beach*

Father: Ouch...

Hevej: *jumps out of his skin in surprise*

From the shadows Jana tugs on her Mother's pants leg to say something, but is quickly is silenced by a piece of tape magically appearing on her mouth.

 

[The Count]

*Causes electrical short-circuit so APES don't detect the use of magic incurred to make the tape over Baby Jana's mouth appear.

There, that should buy her some time...

Hevej: Moppet! Hush!

Father: *opens one eye* Moppet? Ech...another one of those crack pots...

Hevej: *smiles to self* Is Mother here?

Father: Mother? Rosa?

Hevej: Hold on there. *punches Father out and tosses him over shoulder*

Father: I'm getting used to this...*unconcious*
