"The Moppet Family - Same Family, New Thread..."

[The Count]

Under the cover of night, Mrs. Moppet Sr. skulks around the grounds of the school campus. Parker's footsteps belied his position, but try as she might, she cannot enter due to the various protection charms and spells kept over the entire universitary lot. Parker decides to hightail it out of there, though he knows that if he dares to leave his mom will be on him like a pirahna on a marrow bone. He decides to brave Christy's wrath and walks into the lab on the right. The two have a heated discussion, changing Parker's form into that of a common sailorman while she changes into her own pirating outfit herself. The ingredients to Christy's class potion mingle in the brew, a few of them that shouldn't be there but she doesn't really care. The passion between Christy and Parker gets to be too much, sparking something between them, sparking a crackling bonfire. The flames start licking the floors and walls of the chamber as they rapidly spread to the adjoining lab. Unaware of what's happening around them, the duo is alerted to the surrounding blaze at last by the wailing of the university's fire department.

*There, that's enough for Christy to take over now.

The night lingered on as Parker sat outside debating if he should go in or not. From somewhere Mrs. Moppet Senior snuck onto the campus looking for her son. In minutes suddenly a shockwave was felt from a blast. Christy jumped through the window breaking it and getting cut just seconds before another blast sounded off in her lab. It was a chemical nightmare.


Christy: *groans and looks up at the other lab* AAADDDAAAAMMMM! *and runs into the fire filled building*

(OOC: Sorry for all the confusion! We each had three different fires being set at the same time...I'm going with Chrsity's because it fits the original story -- the fire starting in another lab, and her not talking to parker at that time. Darn that Mrs Moppet Senior...)

Parker: Wait! *runs after Christy into the fire* *covering mouth and nose and searching through the smoke for survivors* *coughing*

Mrs Moppet Senior: *standing behind a pillar, holding a flame thrower and an oxygen mask* *smiles evilly and folds her arms as her son staggers through the smoke* You can't help her now.

Parker: *coughing* What did you--CHRISTY!

Mrs Moppet Senior: *spinkicks, smacking Parker in the head*

Meanwhile as Izzy could not sleep, she heard the explosion in the distance and decided to put her coat on and go see what was happening. It is then she notices the blinking light on her answering machine and receives Adam's message. Looking out her window she sees flames coming from the direction of the lab.

Izzy: Oh no! *runs out the door*

 

[The Count]

Fine... I'll just come back later and get involved then.

Adam's trapped under a pillar that collapsed in on him when he bumped into the structure at top speed to escape the fires swarming over the lab where he was working. Thoughts of he doesn't know what merge in an ever constant vortex, changing speeds from fast to slow without any direction forward or back. All he knows is he needs his sister's talents for always getting out of whatever trouble she finds herself in.

Parker: *falling unconcious* No...nnn...got to save Christy...basement...Friday...

Mrs Moppet Senior: Can't save her now! The future is already changing, and you will be all mine...my son forever working with me and for me!

Parker: Nnn...won't work...

Present...

Father: *stands in the living room holding onto the mantlepiece, remembering the events as they transpired the first time...the fire...it had never been explained...it had to have been his Mother all along...she wasn't changing future, she was making it*

OOC: Count, now no need to get huffy. I just have the file open and I'm tweaking things to follow it so we don't change history to much.

Christy: *shouts and ducks falling burning rafters* Adam! *turns at the sound of her name* Adam?

In the underworld...

Mother: Oh Adam where are you now? Parker...get up! Get up man! Beau, would you realize that you can go back there and save her! Someone...*looks over and sees Vibs, Little Viq, and Jana begin to slowly appear*....please....soon...

 

[Beauregard]

Parker: *struggling against his mother's grip* Christy! *breaks free and runs towards Christy*

Present Father: *spins around as all nursery items flash to dissapear from the room*

Parker: *spots Christy through the dark and grabs her from behind, pinning his arms around her shoulders and dragging her back through the flames towards the door*

Mrs Moppet Senior: Oh for pity's sake!

Parker: *grunts, trips, and throws Christy through the doorway as he rolls away through the lab deeper into the fire*

Mrs Moppet Senior: PARKER!

Parker: *scrambles to feet...a decision on his hands...go back and save Adam and reveal himself to Christy...be caught by his mother...or run, run now in the distraction of the flames and escape from them all*

Christy: *mumbles* Adam...adam...parker...get adam...*all goes dark*

In the Underworld...

Mother: Adam..please hurry.

Parker: *runs from the fire, into the darkness of night*
