The Monster Makers Mask Makers Book: Thoughts?

Hey all,

Does anybody have any opinion of this book?

It looks cool, but I'm wondering if it would be applicable to latex puppet making, or just to mask making. I assume they're not substantially different, of course, but I thought I'd ask.

You want to use foam latex for puppet building. The mask making latex doesn't expand when it cures.

Slip cast latex makes good puppets as well. And is far easier to use than foam latex.

I have not read it, but heard good things about it. There is a DVD specifically on latex puppet making from Noreen Young that explains the basics as well. Michael Brose's "Figure Making Can Be Fun" is another puppet specific book that includes a lot of good information on mold making.
