Great chapter again MW...

Few nitpicks though.
Where it says Will "wasn't died", it should be "Hadn't died".
Where it says Doom Waited to finish them "offer" the right way, it should be "finish them off in the right way" or something like that.
Where it says Fozzie was in the phonebooth watching "them action" from in there, it should be "the action" instead.
The jokes Doom made concerning the girls' group... Was that inspired by the Yin-Yang-Yo inserts? Nice touch, saw most of the episodes they aired yesterday during the marathon. Yes, marathon, they finally made good use of that word deserving it to be called such.

Also... Will shouted out Quintessence and the magic happened?
Thought that was Nerissa's particular power schtick. But can Will pull off that trick also?
Just a smidge confused.
And the girls have guardian uniforms? Guess that's just part of what you miss out on when you got partially blind batty eyes.
All info would be appreciated on the guardians themselves, hope to hear from you soon pal and keep it coming.

Sort of. I saw a little bit of that marathon, too. When I found out that they'd be showing episodes all day long, I was wondering how they were going to pull it off, seeing as how the show just started. Then I notice how they were showing four episodes repeatedly, which is actually pretty clever on Disney's part, because there might've been a few that missed a couple or so episodes.

Speaking of marathons, there were a lot of them yesterday on several networks. I caught the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" one on ABC Family; wasn't home long enough to see if they'd shown the Muppets episodes though. You gotta love Ty and his crew, man.

I saw that one episode from the current season where Will said "Quintessence" and all of these objects came to life (I think it was the "K is for Knowledge" episode). She's been using that term so much that during the recent transformation sequences, instead of saying "The Heart", she says "Quintessence". I guess it has something to do with being the leader of the Guardians (which I think Nerissa was when Yan Lin, Cassidy, and the other original girls were Guardians).

They should explain more about this in future episodes of Season 2.

OK... Guess I haven't hearing it that clearly in the newer episodes or maybe I've been missing out on a few recent episodes. Basically, I just go by the episode plot instead of the title since I rully don't know them cause I don't see them on the screen.
The whole deal with Nerissa... It's sort of confirming my thoughts that she's on a revenge path similar to Siniestro from DC. Member of a team of do-gooders who started enforcing that good a bit too extremely, so they ended up getting kicked out of the team by the other members. Will have to pay more attention to that when watching the newer episodes.

Anyway, thanks... And hope for more story soon.

Chapter Twelve

The newly “fanaticized” Phil van Neuter and the Mulch-Thing were showing no mercy towards the Not-So-Fantastic Four and Robin, who were avoiding the two super-powered muppets at whatever cost. No matter where they hid, either Phil or Mulch would find them there and attempt to destroy them. There were times when Ben and Johnny tried hurling heavy objects at Mulch, who simply caught them and crushed them to dust, which was exactly what he planned on doing to Ben and Johnny. Reed and Sue fought back at times as well, using some of Reed’s highly-advanced machines to attack Phil, who counter-attacked by using his “Torch ability” to melt Reed’s machines and then used a combination of invisibility and flexibility to hurl some other machines of Reed’s at the two scientists.

Robin was hiding in one of the smallest areas he could find: the vent grate, where he noticed Victor Von Doom’s hidden surveillance camera inside. As Robin inspected the camera, someone had found him in that grate; it was Mulch-Thing, who picked him out of that area and held him up high, careful not to squeeze him to a pulp just yet. When Phil had chased Ben, Johnny, Reed, and Sue back into the laboratory, they all stopped as soon as they noticed how Robin was in Mulch-Thing’s grasps.

“Help!!!!” Robin cried, and the Not-So-Fantastic Four feared for Robin’s life, as a wicked grin crept across Phil’s face.

“Let him go!!!” Sue demanded.

“Oh, we’ll let him go,” Phil remarked, “As soon as we’re through with you!” He began to advance towards the team, while Mulch-Thing remained where he was, holding Robin high up from the floor. Baseball-sized flames hovered over Phil’s palms, while part of his body was either vanishing or expanding. He was using three of the Fantastic Four’s powers at once, which seemed awkward and frightening to the people that he was going to destroy them with. “Say hello the Fantastic One and One-Fifth, you cretins!!!”

Before Phil had the chance to annihilate the team, a sudden powerful beam of orange, red, and green light fired out of nowhere and hit Mulch-Thing directly in the chest, sending his rock-hewn body falling back directly into the fifth transformation chamber, right before he dropped Robin. Sue jumped and caught Robin, just as he was an inch away from the floor, while a puzzled Phil turned away from the team and towards the spot where the beam was shot from. He noticed Bunsen and Beaker, both dressed in their blue uniforms, holding the massive gun that they had brought from the KMUP station. They never looked more brave or heroic to the Not-So-Fantastic Four.

“I’m afraid your time as the Fantastic One and One-Fifth has come to an end, Phillip!” Bunsen exclaimed, as Phil turned and advanced towards them, while gawking at the gun they were holding.

“I can’t believe you would use the Shock-Blaster 3000 on my assistant like that!!” Phil yelled.

“And I cannot believe you would steal the powers of the Fantastic Four like you and your assistant have.” Bunsen remarked. “But that will all change, once you’re back in the chambers, along with the people you robbed.” Phil didn’t seem intimidated by Bunsen’s words; instead, he just cackled wickedly (choking on his own air in the process).

“And I suppose you’re going to use your invention on me, too?” Phil asked. “You’ll need at least fifty minutes to let charge before you can use it again.” Bunsen and Beaker knew that Phil was correct, which was why Beaker had done what he did next. He suddenly speeded away from Bunsen’s side and zoomed around the room at remarkable speed. Everyone tried to keep up with him, but their eyes were to slow to catch where Beaker was. Soon his body began to smoke the entire room and transform into a bolt of lightning again. His electrical state ended up shooting into the Shock-Blaster 3000, recharging the gun faster than it normally would. Once it was fully charged, Beaker zapped right out of the gun, just before Bunsen fired it again on Phil.

“Game over!!” Bunsen exclaimed, and soon after Phil was blasted into the fifth transformation chamber with Mulch, Reed went up to the controls and used them to close the chamber. Phil and Mulch screamed and grunted, as the chamber door closed on them and silenced them.

“Quick! Into the other chambers!!” Reed yelled, and the four immediately jumped into the same chambers that they were in before. Bunsen approached the controls and used them to shut the doors on them as well and begin the transference. He and Beaker shielded their eyes from the lights that the five chambers were emitting, while lights within the Baxter Building and other complexes were blinking, fading in and out. Soon when the process was over, the chamber doors opened and the first ones to step out where Phil and Mulch, who were both no longer the powerful beings that they were the moment before. They collapsed before the feet of Bunsen and Beaker, who were looking down at them and grinning.

“No! What have you done?!” Phil exclaimed. “We…We were gods! And you stole our moment in the spotlight again!!” The two got to their feet and again advanced towards them. “No matter! We’ll tear you limb from limb with our regular bare hands anyway!” Bunsen and Beaker didn’t move one inch; they just stood there and smiled, which puzzled Phil and Mulch. “Why aren’t you two scared?” Bunsen responded only by pointing behind Phil and Mulch; they turned and were freaked out so much by what they saw next, they immediately ran out of the laboratory and the building. Bunsen and Beaker remained where they were, staring at what scared Phil and Mulch away and smiling victoriously.

----------------------

Several people, including Fozzie, Gonzo, Rizzo, Pepe, Clifford, and the rest of the KMUP crew (who were standing right outside their station), watched helplessly as the vicious, monstrous being known only as Doom stood over the inert bodies of Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin, as they were still lying in the craters they made in the New York street. For the first time since his change, Doom felt like he was back on top, with the Fantastic Four gone and the rest of New York City now his to own. It was like Latveria all over again for him; the only thing was stood out was the Guardians.

“If only you brats just told me how your powers worked, I could’ve made you my official bodyguards and enforcers; but you had to do things the hard way.” Victor said, while grasping onto the electricity pole. “But that’s alright. I’d rather run this city with my own iron fists!” He raised the pole for the death-blow, and right before he swung down, a familiar voice interrupted him.

“I can’t let you do that.” It said, simple and strong. Doom turned to see Reed, who was alone on the street, still bruised and battered from his altercation with Phil and Mulch. As he slowly stepped towards him, Doom just smiled.

“I knew Neuter and his pet couldn’t have gotten the job done.” Doom said. “No matter. I’ll be with ya in a sec, Reed.” He turned back to the Guardians and again raised the pole; and again he couldn’t execute a swing, because something was holding the pole in midair…something invisible. “Hello, Susan.” The Invisible Woman turned visible again, holding back the pole with a forcefield. Using her power, she flung it from Doom’s grip, skidding it along the street. “I gotta admit. You two do work well together. So much that you were able to get both of your own powers back. But where’s Ben?”

Just after Doom asked that question, something huge, large, orange and rocky landed right behind Reed and Sue, creating a slight tremor that activated several car alarms and even knocked out several streetlights. Doom used her power to shut off the car alarms, as he stood across from Reed, Sue, and Ben (back in his rocky, fighting Thing form).

“Right here, tin-head!” He exclaimed, and while Doom was distracted by their sudden appearance, Gonzo, Fozzie, Clifford, and a few other KMUP crewmembers came over to the unconscious Guardians and quickly moved them away from Doom, bringing to the front of the station, where Robin had joined up with everyone, much to their satisfaction to see him safe and unharmed again.

“So what is this?” Doom asked. “The pitiful three?” And that’s when Johnny Storm swooped down, hurling a fireball like a flame thrower at Doom. He took his place alongside the others, at the same time Bunsen and Beaker had, the six of them standing as one.

“Get it right, chump! It’s the Fantastic Four…Plus Two.” Johnny said, and he turned and winked at Bunsen and Beaker, who couldn’t have been more proud to be part of the team. They all stared at Doom, who stood with his metal skin slightly singed and melted, making him look all the more menacing.

“This is going to be fun!” Doom exclaimed, as electricity started to course through his body again. He stood at the foot of the crater that Will’s body made and thrust down, grabbing a thick power cable and ripping it out of the street. He snapped the cable into two lashing strips and held on tight to them, absorbing the power. Lights flickered and dimmed in buildings all around him, including the KMUP station, making them the lose their feed. Window blew apart, while a fully powered Doom was glowing; he let go of the cables, leaving the two deadly wires snake out of control. Pedestrians scattered and panicked, and some of the KMUP crewmembers were heading back inside the pitch-black station.

Reed noticed the wires slashing through the air and stretched his arms, reaching for them. Doom fired super-powered energy bolts; the electric charges surged through the air toward Bunsen, Beaker, and the Fantastic Four. Bunsen created a crystal wall in front of them, allowing Doom’s blasts to explode into it and shatter it to pieces. Another blast from Doom forced Sue to toss up her force fields, exploding Doom’s blasts in mid-flight; she kept her hands up, blocking several of Doom’s blows. One of the blasts glanced off her force field and smashed into a concrete stanchion of a building. The pillar crumbled, with people huddled under the overhang, and they were about to be crushed by the falling concrete, until the concrete roof held steady thanks to Ben, who was holding it up. He stood beside the stanchion, while people safely ran out.

Back on the street, Reed finally grabbed both ends of the wire, leaving Beaker able to speed towards them, transforming into an electric current that morphed with the sparks from the wires. Using the electricity from his body and the wires, Beaker was able to weld them back together, fusing the cables. He zapped out of the wires soon afterwards and fell back in exhaustion next to Sue, who was still struggling with her force fields, while Doom was still firing. The impact was too much for her, and her nose was starting to bleed.

“I can’t…hold on…much longer!” Sue exclaimed, and Reed noticed how she was about to drop her hands, leaving her vulnerable. He immediately made a move, stretching his whole body and expanding himself across the street. Grabbing a tree, he formed a wall between Sue and Doom, who kept firing his bolts and slammed them into Reed’s body. They distended out his back without breaking, as he strained in agonizing pain, while he turned to Johnny.

“Johnny! Supernova!!!!” He cried, and Johnny charged toward Doom, with the flames on his body starting to build a blinding white intensity that engulfed everything.

“Flame on, kid.” Ben uttered, with a smile, as Johnny grabbed Doom and exploded in a pulse of bright white light, which started to heat up everything around it.

“Sue, Bunsen!” Reed shouted, in a commanding voice, and the two shut their eyes, concentrating. A giant crystal cylinder developed from Bunsen’s hands and enveloped Johnny’s supernova, while a giant force field exploded from Sue’s body and covered both the cylinder and the supernova, containing it all in a bright sphere of energy. Ben turned to the crowd, extending his arm and blocking them, while the light increased to the point to where it was blinding, forcing people to look away.

Finally, Johnny’s supernova faded, just as Sue’s force field faded and Bunsen’s crystal cylinder shattered to pieces. Johnny collapsed to the ground, exhausted and smoking, while Sue and Bunsen exhaled, falling to their knees. The light flickered out, and as everyone’s eyes adjusted, there was a thudding noise. Doom stepped through the smoke, completely unharmed; his metallic body glowed white, trailing molten metal. Sue, Ben, Johnny, Bunsen, and Beaker looked at him in devastation; just like the Guardians, they doubted if they could ever beat him.

“Is that the best you can do, Reed?” Doom asked. “A little heat?” Reed had stayed perfectly calm, shaking his head.

“Chem. 101: what happens when you super cool hot metal? Beaker?” Reed said.

“MEEP! MEEP!” Beaker shouted, just before he super-speeded towards a fire hydrant and kicked it open, allowing the water to geyser up. Ben kicked down with his foot, deflecting the water so it sprayed toward Reed, who twisted his torso so the water curled around his chest, raced down his arms, and shot right off his wrists toward Doom.

“No.” Doom murmured, just as the water flew out, dousing him. Giant clouds of steam filled the air from the cooling metal, as Doom screamed. His shrieks had finally faded to silence as the water stopped, leaving thick steam clouds rolling and completely obscuring Doom. They eventually cleared to reveal the statue that he had become: a hard, cold solid piece of metal. He was frozen forever, never to wreck havoc, as long as he was like that. Bunsen, Beaker, and the Fantastic Four exhaled, standing as one in the rolling smoke.

With the threat now gone, people emerged from their hiding spots and applauded for the new team of heroes, including the two new members that they had just found out about: Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant, Beaker. The crew from the KMUP station also applauded, stepping out to congratulate them, while Gonzo, Pepe, Rizzo, and Robin stayed behind to check on the still unconscious Guardians. Robin sat on top of Will’s chest, hopping up and down to wake her up.

“C’mon, Will! Wake up!” Robin exclaimed. “Doom, Dr. Neuter, and Mulch have all been defeated by Bunsen, Beaker, and the Fantastic Four! Don’t die on us now!” Tears started to come down the little frog’s eyes, as he continued hopping. He was about to stop, until he, Gonzo, Rizzo, and Pepe noticed how Will and the other Guardians were starting to move their heads and bodies.

“They’re coming to!” Gonzo exclaimed, happily, as Robin stopped jumping on Will’s chest and just sat there smiling, as she opened her eyes and saw the tiny frog. Just like the night he visited her in her bedroom, she almost believed that one of her toy frogs was sitting on top of her. But with a little focus and realization, she knew that it was only Robin, who she was pleased to see unharmed.

“You’re a real handful, you know that?” Will uttered, and Robin chuckled.

“So I’ve noticed.” He said, just as Will sat up and gave him a big hug. The other Guardians sat up as well and spotted the “statue” of Doom standing in the middle of the street, at first thinking that he succeeded in his mission for total conquest.

“Let me guess,” Cornelia said, “We’re in ‘Doom Country’ now?”

“On the contrary.” Gonzo remarked. “Bunsen, Beaker, and the Fantastic Four defeated him. They turn him into molten metal and used water to cool him off to the point where he became the statue you see now.” Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin were impressed by the way the team defeated Doom, yet they were a little jealous in a way.

“Oh, come on.” Cornelia said. “We could’ve done that.” Will chuckled over the jealousy that her companions were mustering that moment; they were not seeing the big picture of Doom’s defeat.

“Don’t complain, girls.” She said. “Just as long as he’s defeated, who cares which team finished him off first?” The other Guardians admitted that Will had a point.

“But if it makes jou feel better, I can always give one of jou de victory kiss.” Pepe said, and as the Guardians frowned at him, Irma noticed a small puddle of water left from the flood, and she used her powers to manipulate some of the water out of the puddle and splash all over Pepe, making him fall on his back. “H’okay! H’okay! I get it!”

Epilogue

A month had passed since the defeat of Dr. Doom, Phil van Neuter, and Mulch, and the Fantastic Four were finally able to make their appearance on Muppets Tonight, along with their two newest members, Bunsen and Beaker. They were all interview by Clifford, while wearing their blue uniforms, which had been recently updated to where the “4” on each uniform now had a small “2” on the upper right hand corner. It had transformed into a “four squared” logo, symbolizing Bunsen and Beaker’s addition to the team. The two scientists didn’t mind about the popularity they were receiving from fellow KMUP crewmembers and people around the world. They had become more popular with the crowd than they were before their change.

After the show was over, a big celebration was held in the station, and several friends and family had attended from Jerome “Doc” Christian and Sprocket to the Guardians of the Infinite Dimensions to Jimmy O’Hoolihan (the Baxter doorman who wore an arm cast to the event) to other Muppets from either the Muppet Theatre or the Happiness Hotel, as well as others. Reed and Sue hadn’t stopped kissing each other since the interview was over, and it almost got on Johnny Storm’s nerves.

“Dude, that’s still my sister.” He said, and Reed & Sue finally pulled apart from each other, smiling at Johnny, while Doc approached Ben, seeming to be really excited.

“Ben, I’ve been crunching the numbers on the new machine that Bunsen, Reed, and I have been developing.” Doc said. “I think if we can rework the power settings…”

“Forget it, Doc.” Ben remarked, much to Doc’s surprise. “I’m good as is.”

“That’s my Benny.” Someone said, and that’s when Alicia Masters appeared between Doc and Ben, handing a big metal mug to Ben. He took the mug and clinked it again Alicia’s glass, accidentally shattering it. “We’re going to have to work on your touch though.” Ben looked at Doc, with a big smile on his rock-hewn face.

“I like the sound of that.” Ben said, and as he and Alicia got close to each other, Doc and Sprocket exchanged bizarre looks, wondering what kind of relationship that would be. While they were heading to the food table to grab something to eat, Bunsen was sharing some blueprints of a new invention that he had been drawing the schematics on with the Guardians, Reed, Sue, Gonzo, Rizzo, Pepe, Clifford, and Robin.

“It’s a remarkable vehicle. It’ll be powered through solar energy, and a hover mechanism will be installed in it, which will give it the ability to fly as high as a 747.” Bunsen explained, and he was losing the attention of his audience, except for Reed, who understood every word that he had been saying for the past hour. “I’m sure if we get started on it now, we should have it completed by this winter.”

“It’s a fantastic car, Bunsen!” Reed exclaimed, as he looked over the blueprints.

“And that’s exactly what I think we’ll call it.” Bunsen said. “The Fantasticar!!”

“Oh, brotha.” Rizzo uttered.

“I could’ve thought up something way more original than that.” Irma said.

“I kinda like it.” Hay Lin commented. “It sounds a lot like something straight out of a fan fiction story.”

“Ha! Now I know it’ll bomb!” Cornelia exclaimed.

“What do you think, Will?” Robin asked, as she carried him over her shoulder.

“I think someone should be getting to bed, before he passes out and starts drooling all over my clothes.” Will joked, and Robin was a little offended.

“Hey! I don’t drool!” He exclaimed, and Will chuckled, while Clifford had turned to Gonzo, who seemed a bit distraught over something.

“Yo, Gonz.” He said to him. “Why so glum, man? It’s a party!”

“Oh, I’m sorry, Cliff.” Gonzo said. “My mind was just on some other things right now.” Clifford looked closely at Gonzo, as if he knew what was troubling the weirdo. He sighed, as he reached into one of the pockets of his vest and pulled out the application papers that he had yet to send to J. Jonah Jameson at the Daily Bugle. Gonzo looked over at him, just in time to see him tear up the papers. “Clifford, what are you doing?!”

“Hey, man. I may hate working here in this messed-up station,” Clifford told Gonzo, “But I’d rather take another day of hectic scheduling, stressed-out stage directors, a room filled with ash and crystal objects, a overprotective monkey and his Tony Bennett infomercial-loving singer friend, a sex-crazed king prawn, a food-addicted rat, and other wild and crazy stuff than to steal a job that one of my greatest (and weirdest) friends owned at the Daily Bugle.” Gonzo was disappointed that Clifford wasn’t taking the Daily Bugle job, yet he was honored that he was willing to give it up, just to stay friends with him.

“Thanks, Cliff.” Gonzo said, and he shook Clifford’s hand, not long before he gave him a big hug.

“Okay, Gonz.” Clifford uttered, while struggling to breathe. “Let’s not take it any farther than this.” As Gonzo let go of Clifford and just smiled at him, Reed turned to Sue and led her outside to the front of the station, where he stood with her and looked up at the beautiful starry sky. He then turned to her again and pulled out something from his left pants pocket.

“I found a broken gasket, from space…” He said, and Sue was a bit baffled and a little upset.

“A gasket?” She remarked. “Reed, we’re at a party.” But that’s when Reed opened his hand, revealing a circular piece of metal that was just about the size of a ring, and Sue slowed down, realizing what was probably going on.

“If one of us were to wear it…” Reed said, and he looked at her square in the eye; his head remained eye-level, while his body dropped down on one knee. Sue gasped; she was so emotional that she started to disappear. Neither of the two realized that they were being watched by Johnny, Ben, Bunsen, Beaker, and the rest of the crowd from inside the KMUP station, who were all in on the secret. “No more thinking…no more variable. Sue Storm…will you…” He stopped when he saw that she was completely invisible. “Sue? You there?” It was quiet for some time, and then the ring floated away from Reed’s hand and just hovered before his face. Sue was wearing the ring on the third finger of her right hand.

“Yes.” said the invisible Sue, and Reed kissed a random part of her face, making her chuckle a little. “That’s my nose, genius. These are my lips.” Reed’s face was squeezed on both sides by Sue’s invisible hands, pulling him into a kiss while reappearing, as their audience applauded.

“No more wise cracks about how I look.” Ben whispered to Johnny, who turned and grinned at him.

“Hey, I’m Mr. Sensitivity now.” Johnny said, right before he started weaving around bodies and shouting. “Clear the way, wide load coming through!!”

“JOHNNY!!!” Ben yelled, glaring at him with his fists clenched. Johnny gave him a mischevious smile, just before he flamed on and took off into the air, blazing the number four enclosed in a circle of flame with a small number two outside of it over the city skyline. The crowd marveled over the team’s future callsign, while Ben watched, a bit unimpressed. “Show off.”

-------------------------

The next day, at the New York harbor, the Von Doom Industries director of communication, a man named Leonard, stood at the deck and listened to his cellular phone, while overseeing an operation that involved placing the “Doom Statue” into a wooden crate that was loaded onto a freighter ship. As two workers were moving the heavy door of the container that the crate was placed into in place, a crackle of electricity moved over Doom’s frozen solid body, and Leonard’s cell phone went dead. His eyes went narrow, almost looking at the statue, until the container door closed, blocking his view of it.

“How long will the trip take?” Leonard asked a worker.

“About twelve or so days.” He replied, and Leonard, nodding as he glanced over at the stenciled lettering of the place that the ship would be going to: Latveria. Leonard was about to ask the worker another question, until he heard a familiar voice nearby.

“Don’t stop paddling, Mulch! We’ve got to make it!” It shouted, and Leonard looked across the harbor and noticed Phil van Neuter and Mulch on a rubber raft. Phil was shouting orders through a megaphone to Mulch, who was already exhausted from all of the paddling that he had been doing. “Will a song help? A song? How ‘bout this one?” Phil then started singing badly into the megaphone. “Cooperation! Makes it happen! Cooperation! Working together! Sing it!” Mulch started grunting the lyrics to the song, while Phil kept on singing in his worse tone.

“Who the heck are those guys?” A worker asked Leonard.

Former V.D.I. employees.” Leonard responded, just as he and the workers started walking off the deck, while Phil and Mulch paddled their way towards the freighter ship, which had pulled away from the harbor and steamed into the horizon.

Great great stuff Sean. So much action packed into one chapter, and the epilogue.
Aren't you proud of finally finishing this one? This is why I like your stories so much, cause you weave the movie into the plotline.
Looking forward to your next crossover.

That said, here are some little nitpicks I found while reading, hope you can still go back and edit your posts.
Chapter 12.
Fanaticized", is that correct? Or should it be "fantasticized"?
"Robin was in Mulch Thing's grasps", it should be "grasp" instead.
When speaking of Bunsen and Beaker's arrival at the fight between Phil and the Not-So Fantastic Four: "They never looked more brave or heroic", it should be "braver and more heroic" instead.
Phil van Neuter: "You'll need at least fifty minutes to let charge before you can use it again." It should be "recharge" instead.
"It was like Latveria all over again for him; the only thing was stood out was the Guardians. "
Not sure what needs to be changed here: should it be "what stood out"? or "that stood out"?
"Doom used her power", should be "used his power" instead.
"Gonzo, Fozzie, Clifford, and a few other KMUP crewmembers came over to the unconscious Guardians and quickly moved them away from Doom, bringing to the front of the station"
It should be "bringing them to the front of the station" instead.
"Where Robin had joined up with everyone, much to their satisfaction to see him safe and unharmed again."
Not sure how this should be fixed... Much to everyone's satisfaction to see him again, safe and unharmed?
"Johnny winked at Bunsen and Beaker, who couldn't have been more proud to be part of the team."
It should be "prouder".
"Lights flickered and dimmed in buildings all around him, including the KMUP station, making them the lose their feed."
It should be "making them lose their feed" instead.
"Window blew apart, while a fully powered Doom was glowing; he let go of the cables, leaving the two deadly wires snake out of control."
Window should be pluralized into "Windows".
"A concrete stanchion of a building", not sure what it is you want say, never heard the word "stanchion" before.
"He was frozen forever, never to wreck havoc, as long as he was like that."
It should be "wreak" instead.

Epilogue.
"Johnny gave him a mischevious smile", it should be "mischievous" instead.

LOL!!! I knew I was going to make a lot of mistakes in the last chapter, but I didn't expect there to be that many. I think I might've set a record there.

Thanks, Count. And it does feel good to finally be done with this one, considering that I had so much trouble working an F4 story into "The MARVELOUS Muppets" series. I'll be looking forward to the sequel, which I obviously gave a lot of hints about throughout the last parts of this tale. Did you know that they've already begun production on it? They started on August 28th and are filming as we speak in Vancouver (sp?), Canada.

My next crossover will definitely be the Muppets/Spider-Man 2 story, which I'll be giving plenty of updates on during the upcoming months. I'm certain that I'll start writing that one around the holidays--that is, if I'm lucky (LOL!!). I'm also going to see if I can't work up some commentaries for a few "MM" stories (I see prawnie has already started on his for "Old Friends"), maybe before or after I start or finish "Muppets/Spidey 2".

After "Muppets/Spidey 2" might (and that's a big might) come the Labyrinth/Ghost Rider/Storyteller/Blade story, and then (and I know this for certain) we'll get on to "Muppets/Spidey 3". After that, it's anyone's guess.

Big thanks to you, Count, and anyone else who read this "MM" story. I really hope you all enjoyed it. Right now, I'm going to catch up on the current semester at my university. But have no fear, because The MARVELOUS Muppets will return (sorry if that sounded corny).

No worries there. Yes, production started on the F4 sequel. Rully looking forward to how you treat Batman Begins, along with the remaining slate of Marvel/Muppets.

And Ryan and Lisa have running commentary for most of their old stories. Dig through their profile for "Find all threads started by" and you'll find them.
Destination: Home!, Chasing Robin, and Summer in the Theater have commentaries I think, all by Lisa.
Muppet High, The Revenge of Elmo, Sometimes It's Better To Go, and We Know That It's Probably Magic all have commentaries, written by Ryan himself.

Speaking of that SS/Batman Begins tale, I've already come up with a title for it. I'm going to call it "GrouchFest 2005", because the story will be set in the year BB was released and there'll be a ton of characters in the story that's like Oscar...they're just plain grouchy.:grouchy: Billy and Mandy characters will be involved in this one, as well as returning Characters from the Scooby-Doo franchise and maybe even April O'Neil from TMNT, just to stay close to the spinoff series.

I'm thinking that one will be a bit of a remake to Elmo in Grouchland, because Elmo's going to have his part in the tale as well.

And thanks for the titles, Count. It'll give me an opportunity to read more stories by fellow members, especially ones by Ryan and Lisa.
