Yeah, It's one of my many weirdo quirks, that and I don't like wearing ANYTHING with long sleves! As for Dairy Queen/ Orange Julius, I don't see many of them round these parts! unfortunately, there is one Dairy Queen somewhere in Chelsea or something, And I can't get there (unless I take a commuter train, but that's like 5 bucks to find a stoire that sells Ice Cream) Between that and the Hanna Barbara promotion of 2000 (or 2001) I can never find one if I needed to.

Remember that little mall pizzaria Sbarros is the ONLY fast food place that has continually had kids meal promotions from all three major Muppet brands(Muppets, Sesame, Bear)

They have lots of those, though... but I never eat at the mall, anyway... too expensive. Plus when I finally heard about the Bear promo, they took it down and put up the Jump Start computer program related promo...

Though I do think the MFS ones stunk (cheap little viewers), and I never saw the Sesame one.

As for the Hot Topic Sesame stuff, good to see theyve added SS to their Classic Muppets and Fraggle swag mix. I will say however, that a lot of the Sesame stuff at Hot Topic is...um, not exactly for guys. And that Cookie Shirt looks horrible, like a thread bare thrift store hand me down. Will say its nice though theyre trying to make a small effort to market Sesame stuff for the older collector(nothing close to Japan, but oh well) But my, go to: http://www.hottopic.com/

I hate when great characters turn into girl's shirts... Like the Pink Panther... on ladies undies... no no no!!! If I were to buy a shirt (a man's one... fictional) people would think I was ... well, you know. It's just not fair But I'd get those buttons and patched in a heart beat. Maybe if the sales are good, this will finally prompt SW to make more adult collectibles... or at least some new PVC's.

The Orange Julius promotion is, indeed, the same as the DQ promotion of last summer (four different toys)

The Mrs. Fields deal looks like it will feature Muppet shaped cookies - and cups with Sesame Street characters on them.

I wouldnt call that a quirk, I'd call it a misfortune^)^ Seriously, do yourself a favor and next time your at a mall seek out the nearest Hot Topic. You would be astonished at the sheer volume of Muppet related stuff(TMS, Fraggle, SEsame, etc) Also, try and hook up a fan trade with someone for some Fraggle epiosodes...I think you'd be blown away.

As for chicks...oh yeah, you know whats up! ^_^

You people are so lucky there is no muppet things here at the local malls I'm sure they could be around somewhere its mainly just videos like Muppets from Space & the Muppets take Manhattan there was probably alot stuff arond when the Muppet show was originally on.You can still see a lot of Sesame street things though.

they came out with new pins that arent on the website, so remember to look through the buckets for hidden muppet treasures.... i found a whole set of pins that read "pepe for president", "gonzo for president" etc. They're really cool.
