Hmm... maybe I should have called this the Dumb Pig thread but...oh! Hi guys!

I was just wondering after recently watching the Muppets 30th special, I noticed something that at least I don't recall ever hearing about, Link has an earring in his ear (where else of course?) I just found that odd, I mean i've known about it, just never brought it up before, I can't say i'm a big fan of the dumb pig, but i was just wondering what everyone thought of that? hmm would it ever wind up on a tux Link action figure? most likey not i guess!;-)

Also did anyone notice that Link started to become part of the gang right before Jim Henson died? Link was in the Walt Disney world special, yet he was kinda pointless in it, he didn't really talk to any other Muppets in the special but commented on a poisin Ivey line, then he had a short yet funny cameo with Charles Groden and Rizzo, a line in the final song with Animal and Snow White, but for the most part he wasn't really there or needed to be, maybe if he had a Strangepork to play off of there might have been more of a point of him being there. Jerry didn't have many of his character's there anyways with only Robin, Camilla, and Floyd. Lew Zealand could have easily fit in the bunch and have some fun throwing fish on a water park ride! maybe even Pops as well, heck Uncle Deadly made a cameo in the intro before the special aired on the wonder world of disney on ABC with Mr.. Eisner, Fozzie Bear, and Emily Bear then Gonzo, Animal and a few other muppet monsters popping up at the end. (he he, that's the first time the Muppets got the best of old Mr.Eisner)

But back to Link, it was like he was becoming more into the Muppet troop, not that he never wasn't part of it, I mean with the big PIS role and all, it was just neat to see him there even thought there wasn't much of him, I would have rather had Lew Zealand or Sam the Eagle as I think funnier stuff could have been done with them, but not to put out link, I really like the Muppets at Walt Disney world and wish Lew, Sam, Strangepork, Crazy Harry, Sweetums, the Muppet News Man and maybe Pops were there for a full Muppet gang troop, I hope something could be made with all of them in it some day, it always seems like some one is missing TMTM no Sweetums, MFC again no Sweetums Rocky mountain Holliday no Dr. Teeth for some reason and then the list goes on....

Wow, Link is one of the greats of Muppetdom. he is one of my most fororitest Muppet character. I believe he eve got one line in MFS. Am I right?

Anyway he is so great. I don't know what it is about him that makes him so good. HE plays off Miss Piggy well, that could be one reason. He is just so dumb too, like me I guess...

I hope he had even just a little bit in the next movie.

Hey Beau!

I heard that there was a deleted part that never made the flim or DVD with a line from Link as well as one from Rowlf the Dog and maybe a few other Muppets, but i don't think anyone has seen it, Link does have a few cameos in the movie Strangepork has a hidden one too in his PIS outfit near the end on the beach!

When I found out that Link Hogthrob was going to be made an action figure, I couldn't wait for him! He's the only series 4 character I got, because of monitary issues.

Anyway, I always loved the character, and that's why I'm one of the few who like the Star Wars episode, for the extended PIS skit.

I COuld play Link actually. If Steve wasn't using him, and I was a Muppeteer, I'd see what I could do with him...

Mind you, you'd have to fight me for him. I could also perform Beauregard if, say, I was a performer and Dave couldn't do the voice any more.
