The "Let's Complain about New Year's" Thread

We got one for Christmas and Valentines Day, why not one of the most useless holidays of the year? The day you spend sleeping in and sobering up after the actual fun night that preceded it.

To me, New Years is the anti-climactic ending of the October- December holidays that results in the dreary, awful month of January. You know, the one with only that one little day off thing that's supposed to celebrate someone that still doesn't take away from the fact it's 31 days of awful? You know, the maximum of days a month has? Unless you like watching sports and parades for sports, there's nothing to do but sleep in off of staying up. It's frightfully boring.

I'm not a big fan of the cold and dark either, but January is only as awful as YOU make it.
