Well, It's actually a stereotype of stuffy British professors. The ones that have hard accents and sound real snobby.
But I never think in stereotype. Personally I think that there are many accents that can be concieved as stereotypes in the genre of "British accent stereotype," such as the Beatle, the cockney, and the upperclassman.
I donot think that anybody talks like that! Except comedians.
But seriously. Just because I come from Boston doesn't mean I Pahk th' cah in Hahvahd Yahd! I don't even know anyone (aside from baseball fans and old people) who talk like that either.
