Sorry, Couldn't resist. Actually, I know exactly what you mean. I'm in the same boat. Which is a bit strange, since I'm not in any boat at all at the moment, but... darn these figures of speech! Since when does speech have a figure? Oh dear, I've lost myself again...

What I was trying to say is that I also have a lot of homework, will have to severely cut back on my time here, and was considering making a post very similar to yours in the near future. But, since you already said what I need to say, I think I'll just "ditto" that... wait, I think I already said too much for a proper ditto... ah, whatever! Can you tell that I'm just procrastinating writing a 2-3 page essay on- what was it- my "Personal Environmental Ethics"? You know, My sister gave me the impression that "Environmental Science" was a blow-off class. Now I'm starting to think I should have taken Geology. But I'm just rambling now, so... gosh, I haven't rambled like this for a while. It feels pretty good! Ramble ramble ramble ramble... oh, alright, I'll go do homework... after I meander through the rest of the forum some more...

... OH!! Today I was talking about the fraggles AND the muppets with about 5 of my classmates at the same time! And I started singing Muppet songs and fraggle songs and I felt so silly and... No I do not know those people ...um.... what have I done...

Join the club! I have to research and write four long papers as well as read thirty-one books this semester.

If you think high school is tough, wait until college. Within one week I had a couple of hard essay tests to study for, and we're talking about memorizing at least 8 different chapters of history that are 30 to 40 pages thick. I also had an essay due too.

Also, try writing a 11 page paper or 5 essays that should have 4 pages a piece in them. Man college was hard........

I may need to point out that in Denmark we don't really have highschool and college... It's, um like this:

First we have kindergarten. (3-5 years old)
Then kindergarten-grade (6-7)
Then 1st - 9th grade (7- 15/16)

Then you can either leave school and start working or you can choose 10th grade which can be both an ordinary school or a school where you are living at the school. (16-17/18-ish)

Then you can either start working OR you can go to a youth education. I'm in the "Gymnasie" which is a 3 years long education and basically it's... I guess it's like a mix between highschool and college. The main difference between the basic school and this, is that the teachers are there to teach you stuff not to look after you and make sure you get your homework done. It's your own responsibility.

And now I'm bored stiff so I'm gonna stop. But that's more or less the danish school system.

I'm not gonna' lie to you, school sucks and I'm SO glad I'm done with it while you do homework... MWAH HA HA HA!!! Sorry, it's just really great to not be in school any more!!! Work isn't much better granted, but at least I get paid for it!

Ha ha! I'm sorry, Vibs; really I am, but I HATED school, so I definately sympathize with you. I may go back to school again in a few years, but it's a trade school so I'll be doing what I like and really just to brush up on some industry standars, but I do not envy you and wish you the best of luck for a quick and fun year.
