Here's something I was wondering about. I was watching "Muppet Treasure Island" and I was wondering where the writers got the idea to have Fozzie think there was a guy living in his finger. Surely, there wasn't something like that in the original "Treasure Island" book. Does anyone happen to know where they would have gotten that idea?

Someone living in Fozzie's Finger??

OMG:frown:

Source of inspiration?

I HOPE it's not what I'm thinking:

Remember what movie these lines are from:

"Redrum...Redrum...Redrum..."

"All Work And No Play Makes Jack a Dull Boy"

"Heeeeere's Johnny!"

OK, seriously I think I should take this as a sign that I should probably get away from my computer for a bit!

I would guess the only reason for it is because it was funny.

Mr. Bimbo is a great idea. Maybe it`s a variation of a "voice in your head" some people have.

You get enough writers in a room, dim the lights, smoke fills the air, ideas get a bit cluttered.

having mr. bimbo in fozzie's finger kind of made fozzie a little dumb, although it's funny seeing fozzie placing the blame on his finger since fozzie said bimbo hired the crew..
