Thats why everyone tuned in... to see if they were still alive!!
Um, sorry, but ya might wanna try an argument that actually has some merit.

On second thought, don't try---what's the use, it's too much of a widely-loved show.

That's kinda unfair to say. I mean, when you really think about it your argument doesn't have much merit either. It's all a matter of opinion. (Which is probably why the civilian bystanders are the smartest of all of us... way to go, guys! ^^)

Like the Emmy's. Award shows are also a matter of opinion. If it wasn't, then every show would win. It's just like Oscars. I mean, Titantic won an Academy Award for best picture, and I think that's one of the crappiest movies of all times, but that's my opinion.

You say the Golden Girls is classic comedy, but some of us don't think it is. Now, that's not to say that it isn't, but who are you to say that it is? I think the Simpsons (older episodes) are classic comedy, but that doesn't make it so.

Basically, this whole "war" is based upon opinions, so no one can ever really win. Which means we're all losers.

But at least I can admit I'm a loser. XP

I am a big Disney Fan! But the Golden Girls Is the Worst thing Disney ever had its hand in!
What You didnt know GG was a Disney Property?? Some of you Disney bashers that quickly joined the GMMC, should have done a bit more reasearch. It wasnt highly advertised, but It was a property, as was empty nest, which was on after it.

Both facade houses are on display on the backlot tour at disney mgm studios, by the way. I am only letting you know in case you feel compelled to Toilet paper or egg it!

You know what. Im going to put this out just for the members of the gmmc. I had a military code breaker translate your alamater... heres what he found:

Thank you for being a friend
Definition- none, this line is harmless...a decoy line

Traveled round the world and back again
Definition- they are obviously running from something... possibly glorifing criminal activity

Your Heart is true
Definition- Hitler said the same things about his fellow germans. This is actually a quote from his speach regarding his young soldiers

your a pal and a confidant Definition- ahh, someone to share secrets with....what kind of secrets I wonder

and if you threw a party Definition- what kind of party... a...COMMUNIST PARTY???

Invited everyone you knew Definitions-its all about who you know, isnt it

You would See, the biggist gift would be from me Definitions- we need to buy your affection...

And the card attached would say Definition- Cards attached? strings attached...same thing

Thank you for being a friendDefinition....sure, as long as you follow all the above guidelines...this line is no longer harmless

Is This the Future of entertainment?
I sure hope not!

Gosh, we sure have a lot of dead people walking around, don't we, then?

I mean, what about all those "Younger Actor" awards they give out to those who have achieved high quality acting status by the time they are age 6, 7, 10, 12 or so? Are these people "dead," as you have blatantly stated?

How about some real facts to back up something like this?

I mean, the ladies of Golden Girls aren't DEAD. And even though I have to admit that Bea's plastic surgery has made me wish that the actress hadn't done that stupid, they still have all their faculties and are performing in all kinds of venues.

Rue McClanahan (okay, spelled wrong) was in Pittsburgh just last year with a play (Bye, Bye Birdie) which takes a lot out of a person (she played Albert's mother, which is a great part!); Betty White still does television programs (and I mean OTHER than game shows, which she did when she was younger because her husband was a game show host); Bea Arthur received an award for her one-woman show on Broadway just this past year; and Estelle Getty does movies (just TRY and keep that lady down!).

Personally, Kye, I'd like to see you try and keep up the pace that these ladies have...I don't think a "young whippersnapper" like you could handle it! (lobbing the first real bomb into battle)

Did you folks know that when you do a search for "Golden Girls" on AOL you come up with over 43,000 pages of information? And some of these sites have over 90 pages alone!

Yeah...everyone between the ages of 10-60 HATES the Golden Girls...riiiiiiiiiight!

Believe that? I got a BRIDGE in Brooklyn to sell to ya! And some LAND in Florida! Yeaaaaaap, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep...

We will go to any means necesarry to win this war!

We will not fight with guns, but with information. The more we know about the enemy gmmc, the better our chances of winng the Battle!:attitude:

No, not at all. I am usually one of the only ones on this website defending Disney. I have worked for them since 1994. I have been in quite a few threads where a few of your gmmc members were dishing out the disney hisses...especially about the proposed henson /disney deal

I was merely letting some of them know that they were supporting a disney production
