I was just wondering if anybody knew why the Gogolala Jubilee Jugband was dropped after season 1 of The Muppet Show. I think the choice was a good one, as I prefer Lubbock Lou and company, but I was just curious.

It's too bad that the morsels for season 1 didn't explain their absence. Maybe the morsels for season 2 will when talking about Lobbock Lou and his jughuggers. While I like the second jugband better, it was unneccessary to replace them. The second jugband hardly did anything that the first one couldn't have done.

They may have just wanted to build different looking puppets, with more specific looking personality, keep improving themselves. Or just get some new blood (er foam) for the 2nd season.
