Greetings from the Count! Hi SoulH, don't have any memories about the Frazzletones. If you have nay more information about these characters including their names and descriptions please post them here, or send them to me to my E-mail address so that I can then include them in the listings.
As for your request for pictures of the Beetles, I could get them for you but I'm not sure with what amount of quickness I'll be able to get them for you. Perhaps you'd prefer to find the photo you're looking for at the Sesame Street Encyclopedia's website, accessible via the first post on that self-same thread here in the forums. But if you're still interested for me to get you the pics, please respond E-mail with your name and E-mail address to add you to my Forum Members Address Book, and then send you the photos via E-mail since the forum here doesn't give us access to post pics, nor does it give me access to your E-mail either.
Hope this helps and have a haunted weekend.

Hey! Soul H! Ha!

Got your message, not sure when I'll have the pics for you but I'll work on it. The source, just so you know, is their performance of their haunting classic song "Letter B" from the SS video tape, Count It Higher: The Count Counts Music Videos.

BTW: Couple of questions for you.
1 Got a last name? What is it so that the entry in my Address Book can be complete.
2 Why does your address end in .ca? Registered on yahoo's Canadian database? Or was that supposed to be .com?
Thanks and have a haunted night.

My quote comes from the song "Frazzle." I always thought Frazzle was a neat looking Muppet because he doesn't have that typical cuddly, cute appearance. Apparently, Frazzle seemed to scare kids, so he wasn't used much on SS. In fact, he was pretty much an anything Muppet, & was not even an official puppet until the later years of the show. With songs like "Fuzzy And Blue" (And Orange) Frazzle kind of got a little more exposure, thus The Frazzletones performed on the song "Frazzle" in what I would guess is a way to show that Frazzle may look scary, but he's really nothing to be afraid of. They describe him to have feelings & be an overall cool guy. The Frazzletones are kinda just background muppets for the song, to add contrast. :sing:

(Frazzle really never spoke, other than grumbling, but I have the faintest memory where I could swear he may have actually spoke.)

The lead singer was performed by Christopher Cerf, as was Little Chrissy.

My guess to how Little Chrissy became a monster was that he must've drank a monster formula to transform him.

i think you maybe wrong. he probably wasn't used as often as Cookie Grover etc. and there were others not used as often. for example Moreese. sorry of i spelled that wrong. i think he probably came on in the early 70s from the skits on rememeber seeing. he was probbaly canned at some point though he was revived in the early 90s because there were a coupl of skits with him that were recent. but he didn't last. i would think if a muppet was considered bad or scary such as 1 of the monsters they would can them. Beautiful day from the looks of it was discontinued after the 1st season probbaly for the same reason. but then interestingly they continued to use his skits years down the road. something isn't it?
