For New York cheesecake domination, I’ll put Junior’s up against Eileen’s.

but as of right now, really the only restaurant we're having any trouble eating at is a Chinese buffet, because unlike other buffets in town that are still allowing you to serve yourself so long as you follow safety precautions and guidelines (wearing a mask and gloves every time you're at the bar getting your food), they're operating on one guy serving the customers and patrons by himself - you have to tell him what you want from the buffet, and he gets it for you . . . and when you've got a line of people being served by this one guy, it makes for an incredibly slow and awkward experience.
Okay, they've finally adapted to other buffet practices and have gone back to allowing customers to serve themselves, so long as they wear masks and gloves.

Man, it was so good to pig out on their shrimps and chickens again! :insatiable:

So I was kind of grouchy today with the fact that Facebook has just been pooping up on me again with the fact that I’ve been getting accepted friend requests from profiles I know for a fact I never even friend requested to begin with  that I decided to treat myself to some Chik fil a tonight (I originally wanted to go to McDonald’s..... but then I’m just like “nahhh.”)

Normally I get the spicy chicken sandwich, but today I was more in the mood for the original chicken sandwich. I’ll admit I actually like the spicy one a little more though because it has much more flavor (though at least with the original you can really taste the butter on the bun).

There’s a blogger on YouTube whose channel, Delish, tries different dishes at different chains- Cheesecake Factory, Cracker Barrel, etc.
She tried 40 dishes on Cheesecake’s menu.
She takes one bite.
I say no fair. My parents brought me up to finish your plate.

one good thing did call me out of it. I’m trying my hand at making huevos rancheros.
My wife’s birthday is coming up in two weeks and I want to surprise her.

I’m not really a fan of the concept of those who try different versions of a food item (fries, chicken sandwich, cheesecake, whatever) and they only take one bite and they’re like “next,” since it does feel like a waste of food, but it is fun finding out how people feel about their opinions on certain dishes.

I also want to say this after eating Chik fil a last night, I’ve unfortunately come to the conclusion I have reached that age where fast food really rushes around in my body from all the sugar and disrupts my sleep. I’m pretty much no longer eating fast food after 5 PM (from now on I’m saving it for lunch only if I really have a once in awhile craving).

I was the same age as you when I was in McD’s, looking at my Super Size combo meal, that mountain of fries, and thought, “I can’t eat this crap anymore “.

There have been a number of books on how McD’s changed America’s eating habits.
People like it for no other reason than it’s fast. It really doesn’t taste good, there are better burgers out there, but it’s fast.

If there is one fast food burger joint I find decent, it would be Wendy’s.

Not big on their burgers to be honest. While the beef tastes natural I have honestly had better.
