i would also suggest after sanding with the fine sandaper , u should use the Plastic Fushion spary paint made by Krylon, besure you do not over spray , be patient it might take several coats

I discovered the Plastic Fushion spray at Wal Mart some time back. It works great and gives your eyes a nice finish. Also, easter eggs work nicely if you can find ones without holes in them. Or you can simply cover the small holes with part of an eye lid if you plan to hav eye lids for your character.
