She was a very interesting character, I wonder how today's audiences would respond to a character like her

Yeah, she's definitely one of a kind. Ruby was a bit before my time so I had actually never even heard of her until just recently. But ever since I discovered her, she's become one of my favorites. I just can't help but smile really big whenever she's on screen, there's just something very likeable about Ruby for me.
