Since some users are changing avatars, I might as well change mine back to The Brady Bunch again.
And back to the same Home Improvement avatar.I didn't feel like The Count and Susan Sarandon anymore, so changed it to the Home Improvement cast.
Is that Noo Noo from Teletubbies? I remember him!Rather then continuing my ongoing trend of using a furry character that I currently like as my avatar, I decided to do something a little different and go retro this time by making it a character that I grew up on.
Yes, in fact it is. I was recently reminded of him again after so long because one of mom's close friends from work just had a baby for the first time and we were talking about the old shows I used to watch, so maybe we could recommend some of them for her to check out. One of the first ones that came to my mind was Teletubbies which somehow led into an entire conversation about incredibly weird and bizarre that show was. Mom then told me a story about how I used to laugh so hard whenever Noo-Noo would go crazy and make a mess everywhere. Up to that point, I'd completely forgotten about Noo-Noo. I vaguely remembered there being some sort of weird robot-type character on Teletubbies but I couldn't remember anything else about him.Is that Noo Noo from Teletubbies? I remember him!
I know right. Teletubbies was quite possibly the weirdest kid show ever created. Having imagined such bizarre, otherworldly concepts as alien creatures with TVs attached to their stomachs, a sun with a baby's face on it, speakers that randomly pop up out of the ground for no reason, and a certain sketch about a lion and a bear that still disturbs me as an adult I would be shocked if the creators of Teletubbies weren't on some serious drugs. I've even read that the show was frequently viewed by stoner college kids thanks to it's weird material. It's a show that appeals to both toddlers and Cheech & Chong equally. That's kinda strange.Teletubbies was weird; I'm not sure if there was much redeemable educational value (and is kind of silly to be in the same class as SS), but I always used to imitate them jumping down the hole at the end by jumping off the armrest of my couch.
