Hey everybody, I was wondering whether any of you could tell me about the end of The Muppet Show. Why did it happen? Was it cancelled or was there another reason? Thanks for the help.

TMS ended after five years (120 episodes) because Jim wanted to move to other projects. He himself decided to pull the plug at the height of the show's success.
