My favorite characters were the ones in the Jusice Ducks episode.

Loved Stegmutt, Neptunia and Dr. Sarah Bellum. Really Stegmutt was the one and only one i really enjoyed. I don't know why but he just had one of those types of personalities.

Now on the back side my favorite was always Bushroot. He too just like everyone has said he didn't seem all that as a bad guy. Poor poor Bushroot.

Like I said Bushroot's goal are usually pretty moral, :halo:.

When I was a kid wacthing this show, I like Quakerjack the best but as I got older and rewatch the DVDs, I've grown very fond of Bushroot for these characters traits we've mention.

I would say Negaduck is probably Darkwing's most dangerous villains, just cause he seems just so ruthless. It's funny how the other members of the fearsome five have super powers (minus Quakerjack) yet they're totally scared to death of Negaduck whom doesn't have powers:smile:, I think that probably shows how ruthless he must be
Negaduck shot up a movie theater because it was playing "Cute Little Lost Bunnies" in his first appearance. Dude's crazy evil.

I still don't get the character though.... He was introduced as the negative aspect of DW's personality that came out of Megavolt's Tron-Splitter... but then it turns out he resides in the Negaverse (a term stolen by DIC when they dubbed Sailor Moon).

Well the way I understand it is there are actually two Negaducks, the one that appear as Darkwing's evil half and the more famous one that became the unquestion leader of the fearsome five.

The way it really happen though is the writers really like that evil verison of Darkwing and some wanted to bring him back, others were confused as to how they could bring him back. In the end, Negaduck was just back as his own character with no real thought as too how this can be,. I guess later on, people just figure well there are two Negaducks.

But yeah Negaduck is without question, the most evil of Darkwing's villains. In the episode "jail bird," he actually stole the powers of the other fearsome five members, and called himself Mega-Negaduck. Including Quakerjack's wackiness, much to the dismay of Negaduck,.

I just watched "Jail Bird" a few days ago on youtube. Ssshh.....! Don't tell them or they'll delete the episode!

I'm surprised the writers didn't do a story where Darkwing finally decides to take a vacation and goes to Duckburg (thanks to launchpad's suggestion) with Gosalyn and Launchpad and winds up getting frammed by someone like Flintheard Glomgold and the Beagles Boys and Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad have to figure out a way to proove Darkwing isn't guilty.

I can see that as a two part episode.

That or have the Fearsome Five go over to Duckburg and try to steal Scrooge's Money and Darkwing has to go over there and handle the situation.

Actually, they are two volumes of 27 episodes, not two complete season sets. Both have episodes from the first season, which was a daily 65-episode season. The othe rtwo seasons were 13-episode seasons broadcast on satrday morning.

I read at Wikipedia that the first two seasons were actually produced and broadcast at the same time. Talk about confusing! But the first season episodes were broadcast in syndication as par tof the Disney Afternoon, while the "second" season was broadcast on ABC.

I wonder if there were any continuity problems due to two seaosns being broadcast at the same time, or any characters who were seen more on the syndicated version than the ABC version (or vice versa).

I actually am glad they never had any major Darkwing/ Ducktales cross overs... (Scrooge was pictured in a billboard in Tiff of the Titans). Other than, of course, Gizmoduck and Launchpad.... it's almost like a 10 years later type situation. I can picture Launchpad in his mid 30's here, retired from working for McDuck... working on his own thing. Fenton finally mastered the Gizmo suit and became a legend (all the while quitting McDuck enterprises). I would have much rather seen Quack Pack have a crossover, and have Scrooge at least mentioned (One of the Nephews referred to Donald as their only nephew at one point).

Of course, we did see Flintheart, The Beagles, and Magica in the background, bidding on the S.H.U.S.H. master list in the "In like Flint" episode.

Plus, they did mention both of them in Darkwing Duck and Ducktales comics in Disney adventures... I remember one where Launchpad says, "these are just ordinary cuff links... you can get them for a buck at St. Canard... I know a crazy duck and his daughter there." (or something to that effect).

And let's not forget the Legend of the Chaos God comic saga that bridged the entire Disney Afternoon canon in it...

Well, At least Talespin, Rescue Rangers, Goof Troop, Ducktales and Darkwing Duck. And in almost that exact order. I believe it was about a ruby that was possessed by an evil god, and the Ruby turned up in every case.... at the end, I believe it possessed the Gizmoduck suit. Never did read the Darkwing Duck chapter.
