WHOAH! These blow away that nostalgic TMS packaging away!
Good to see Palisades brought the line from out of the nostalgia factor into into the modern hipness!

(I remember early on in 2001/early 2002 some actually wanted it to be a classic TMS line, LOL)

And folks, if ya look real close...ya can see some pre toy fare
shopts of Series 5!

...

...

Ok, j/k...those are just the actual Muppet pix...but made ya look!
*anticipates toy Fare with a mighty fervor*

I love the new packaging, very eye catching. I think the design for the back looks great too. Thanks for the mention in the dailybit Ken !

Warrick - Greg gave an answer to your question on the Palisades board. Apparently they can't use the actual puppet pictures because some of the characters they are doing have no hi-res images available.

Did the Newsman get a new haircut? How many here can actually read what it says on Link's profile?

I think it's better without the real pics. This way you aren't trying to compare the figure to the real thing constantly. Also, the JHC pictures of the muppets that are given to Palisades aren't even of the real puppet. They are of some stuffed toy like thing and always look a bit off anyway.

Hey, wasn't it Sam Arrow before?

Luke,

Well give me Gregs email, I have many high res pics of Series4 Muppets !

And most Muppets have a profile shot from The Muppet Show.
The ones we see most are of the Muppet standing infront of the red curtiain.

Okay, that's weird. It was Sam Arrow on the front and back earlier, now it's a blank card on the front and Link on the back. Furthermore, the new images say "Collector's Club Preview" on them...

Odd.
