*rushes over to bedside table where the book is and desperately flips through it*

It doesn't say anything about pointed ears! Argh!

*slams book shut in frustration and starts pacing*

But what does this mean? Am I mutating further or whatever the heck is happening to me? How far will this go? What am I going to do? What if this kills me!?

Okay calm, down May. Let's think about this later and have breakfast now, okay? Okay.

*Gets out cereal and milk and has breakfast, though is visibly shaken*

*Wakes up, realizing her face has been pressing the J key for hours*

*Now fed and dressed, sits thinking about the matter.*

Wait a sec. I'm in a apartment block full of monsters! I bet they've had similar experiences. I could ask them. And it doesn't hurt to know your neighbours, I mean, I've been talking to myself for two days now!

*Gets up and puts on bracelet. Walks out of apartment and knocks on the first door I see.*
