Who knows? Maybe they were really old or maybe they were just young adults.

I would still like to know how aging works...

I mean, I'm 20...I look like I could be somewhere in my late teens at the earliest...

Maybe bat demons physically age slower? Or there are other things that determine how one looks as opposed to his true age. I mean, being twenty years old but still looking like a teen is not that unusual, even for normal human beings.

(especially when I'm 20 and could pass as a middle schooler...I get the strangest looks from teachers who are trying to figure out if I'm a student and why I am wearing a suit )

There would have to be something that determines appearance. I mean, if you are 2000 years old I highly doubt you would want to look even like you are 80

(And I was asked if I'm still in school when I was at the job fair on Sunday despite being 21 But it was worse for my mom when she was my age and pregnant for the second time XD)

Maybe the inner child determines the appearance?
I'd actually like to ask someone who might know about this but at the same time, I'm not sure if I want to know it yet.
