Ok...I just hope he doesn't get mad...

*teleports to HQ*

Rex: Well, hello you two. Uh...have you forgiven me yet?

Sure...but we have a bigger problem. Um...there is something we didn't tell you. I was temporally possessed by some kind of...cat being...I attacked another rabbit and Yuna said my eyes were...cat like...

Rex: I see...this would have been an important bit of information to have told me sooner...

I was able to literally pull the thing out of me then I exploded it...

Rex: It exploded? You probably absorbed some of this thing's essence...let me look through our database and see if I can bring anything up...

*frown and hold Golbez close to my chest*
Do you think we'll be able to solve this, Rex?

 

[Sgt Floyd]

Rex: Well, I did find something about a cat spirit who's main power is possession. When it dies, apparently some part of the spirit is absorbed by everyone around it. I suppose Sarge just happened to get a bad part of it...

*hold Golbez even tighter*
But he'll be okay, won't he?

*look at Sarge but still addressing Rex*
He'll stop attacking every little critter sooner or later, right?

Rex: ... have you felt weird or different?

Me? Um, no. No, I haven't. At least I don't think so.

 

[Sgt Floyd]

Rex: I really don't know how we can help Sarge...

*watches a fly buzz around*
*starts to swat at it and jump around like a cat*
