Wow...this cave is deceptively tall...

*grows wings and flies up to get a better look*

*looks down and notices something strange about the markings on the floor*

*Flies down, picks Yuna up, and flies back up*

Ok...look at those markings and tell me that doesn't look like a cycle of either a person turning into a fish, or a fish turning into a person...

*look down and unconsciously hold tighter onto Sarge after noticing how high up we are*
It does... Perhaps this crystal grants people the power to turn into a water creature, presumably a fish.

*lands and retracts wings*

Maybe thats how people got in here...that big pool of water under the crystal looks like it could be really deep...which now begs the question where does it lead?

(I still have no idea where I'm going with any of this )

Perhaps these people weren't human at all, but mermaids. Or they were shapeshifters, just like Vincent. Only difference is that they could only turn into sea creatures. Maybe you discovered the remains of an ancient civilization closely associated to water, maybe even Leviathan.

Maybe it would be beneficial for us to get Vincent to turn into a fish and see what the water leads to?

Or is there a chance be and Sarge can use our intangibility powers to somehow follow the water?
