Wait a minute...this means that the people who set up the trapdoor and the ones who run the lab are against each other, doesn't it? If they knew about the tracking device, they wouldn't have wanted to destroy it if the two were working together.

Maybe the people who set up the trapdoor are demons and/or demon sympathizers. They wouldn't want demons to be captured and being experimented on. But I wonder if all of this has been going for a very long, long before Sarge was brought into that lab.
