Anyone have the power to somehow let us see what is going on around here back at the apartment? It could be worthwhile.

*stares intently at hubert as if in a trance*

Um, I think Sarge is broken.

 

[Sgt Floyd]

*snaps out of trance and looks around*

Oooookkkaaaaayyyy...that was surreal...and I wasn't purposely staring at you, Hubert.

a while back, when Grace got captured the first time, I got a picture in my head seeing what she was seeing and hearing. it was really fast. I was never able to actually do that again...but I think that sound may have enhanced something...

That man you blew to pieces was not the real general...the real general is alive...and I was...you could say, "inside his head."

 

[Hubert]

Hmm...odd. But nonetheless, I think it is best that we leave here before any more powers are stalled.

*looks over into the corner*

Wait a minute...what's this?

 

[Sgt Floyd]

Uh...yeah...I agree. They know we are down here. it was their plan all along. You were right, that frequency was supposed to temporarily stall our powers...but we have an even bigger problem. That computer...was not a computer. It was some kind of scanning device. They have data on all of us...I don't know just how much...I lost the connection at that point.

I was seeing what the general was seeing, but barely. it was really blurry. I couldn't make out where he was.

 

[Hubert]

For all we know, he could be in here with us. Or we may be being watched by some sort of camera. As far as I can tell, they have this room so elaborately engineered that every move we make somehow gives them an advantage. I wouldn't be half surprised if they're measuring how much pressure is put on our feet while we're walking around in here...

 

[Sgt Floyd]

Curiosity killed the cat...hopefully not us

I don't know if this clairvoynance thing is a temporary effect or it was permanently triggered by that sound...wait...why are we still here? Lets go! I'll carry Mokey.

 

[Hubert]

Wait!

*looks at watch*

I mean, it's starting to get late. Why don't we just spend the night here?

*mumbles to Sarge* If they're listening to us, they'll know that we're leaving. We have to leave when they don't expect...

 

[Sgt Floyd]

*projects thoughts into hubert's head*

If they are listening to us then whispering isn't going to matter...and yes, I can read minds...I did not want to freak you out too much after the spider incident
