***Nah, it's sort of a holiday today, so everyone will be out, the whole place should be deserted,*** *gets to the main entrance and passes through a thin membrane in to an airfilled walkway* There we go,

*Upon feeling air again turns human, as does Rachel.*
Wow, this place is really amazing.
Rachel: How do the mermaids manage to create an air bubble like this?

It's all due to water manipulation, there are mers who can sculpt water in to whatever they want, and replicating the thin membrane that exists on the surface of water down here is fairly easy, there's a forest room lit by bioluminescent lanterns that simulate sunlight, those tress provide the oxygen in the palace.

Rachel: Your species seems very advanced. More advanced than most humans.

 

[Vicki Fraggle]

A lot of it is due to the fact that we're all technically demigods or nymphs, and have certain powers, *walks up to a big crystal fountain in the middle of the room, from it flows a clear blue liquid* This is the essence fountain. I've supplied you with several bottles if you'd like to take some home with you, comes in handy if you get injured. Or if you want to change someone.
