Spike: I don't know...he seemed so...helpless all the time. I don't know if he ever told you but he would cry himself to sleep holding me. I mean, I'm happy Master Johnny is not so depressed anymore but...sometimes I miss him needing me like that...

He never told me about this... But think about it, he had a rough life since he was a child and all he wanted was someone to love him. You made his life better by loving him and not judging him by who or what he is. And Johnny really loves you, he could never leave you just because he doesn't seem so helpless anymore.

Spike: My only regret is not being able to tell him at least his name, what he was born as...I could sense these things...but since he couldn't understand me, i couldn't tell him.

So, you knew all along that he was born male and that his name is Johnny? He could have found out all this much sooner...

 

[Sgt Floyd]

*Spike whimpers* There was no way to tell him...but don't tell him I knew. I think it would upset him.

Come on, let's spend some time with Johnny.

Spike: Ok...

*Spike jumps off the couch*
