Would you believe me when I tell you I still own every Pokémon game I ever got or bought?

But I haven't played SoulSilver yet... the fact that %$&%$ Raikou evades capture in HeartGold has put me off from playing for a while :/
Maybe I should give it another try...

As long as you don't cheat on me, no complaints :stick_out_tongue:

But it's still sad to think that Raikou still manages to escape me, despite being paralyzed and having only so little hit points left that even the weakest Pokémon can defeat it with just one attack. Even Entei and Suicune weren't that hard to capture and they were both left with more HP <.<

Hm, gotta try it tomorrow, I only used Ultra balls and my Wobbuffet to prevent it from escaping.

Sheesh...doing it the hard way :stick_out_tongue:

I mean, it's still not garantee you'll get it with a quick ball the first try, and only use one at the start of the battle, otherwise it it will fail. Or load up on timber balls and stall a few rounds

Raiku's catch rate is 3, compared to caterpie which is 255.

Ultraballs only have an increased catch rate of 2, whereas a quick ball has a catch rate of 3 if used at the start of the turn...if you have been in battle for 40 rounds, then a timber ball would be 4, and if your pokemon was at 4 times higher level than raiku, the level ball would give you a 8x catch rate. So basically, there are much better balls than ultra balls. Never use ultra balls

(edit: Erg...so many mistakes I had to fix. My brain works faster than I type apparently)
