Alan: I have just been thinking. There is a story in Dual-Changer lore about a squid and a maze, almost like the one that you are talking about. The one difference is that that maze was destroyed eons ago, the squid along with it, but...the son of that squid escaped. I never thought this story to be true, but now I think otherwise. The person who knows all about this legend is Rachel, not me.

Perhaps this squid is the son of that old squid. Where is Rachel? We should talk to her.

Rachel: *Comes out of the bushes.* No Alan, right here.

Hey, Rachel. Do you think you could tell us what you know about the legend?

 

[PanthraDion]

Rachel: Sure I can. The legend goes that there once was an ancient underwater maze when the waters were breathable. This maze was built by the most feared animal of all time, the giant magical squid. Unfortunately, most of this legend has been lost to the annals of time, but what does survive is that, when the maze was destroyed, the only things that survived was the son of the giant squid and all of the knowledge that this son had. It is not known where this son went to.

And Melissa found a maze just like the one you mentioned and there is a squid, probably the son, around here. But you don't suppose you know how the maze was destroyed, do you?
