*tosses and turns, as if I felt bad about yesterday*

*wake up and just look at the still sleeping Johnny with a smile*

*let my demon tail grow and wrap it around his waist*

 

[Sgt Floyd]

Edit: Well...then...

*mumbles blood...*

*eyes open*

Blood? *pokes Yuna*

*turns demon*

*Jake's hearing wakes him up* huh...wha..?

BLOOD? *pokes Yuna again*

Jake: O_O *runs upstairs* Johnny...it's ok...I'll get you blood...come downstairs with me, ok?

*looks at him and cautiously walks towards him, following him to the stairs before stopping*

Jake: Come on...you can do it...

*takes a step and falls*

*Jake catches him*

*clings to him and shakes like a scared puppy, making terrified bat noises*

Jake: Sshhh...it's ok...I got you...*carries him the rest of the way thinking...sheesh...carrying a grown man-bat down the stairs...*

*jake puts him down in the living room*

*sits there like a dog, staring up at him*

*Jake goes to the kitchen and looks in the refrigerator* Good...less work for me...*gets a bowl and dumps the human blood in it, then puts it in front of Johnny*

*looks at him, then the bowl, then drinks it like a cat, entering his corrupted form, only his fur is still black*

Jake: O_O So that's why this is happening...he lived through being corrupted...like I did...*sits on the floor with Johnny*

*after drinking it, curls up like a cat next to Jake and goes to sleep*

*come downstairs after Johnny had his blood*

*look at Johnny, then at Jake, not really knowing what to say except...*

[Sgt Floyd]

Jake: Good morning...I think...*pets Johnny's head as he starts to go back to normal*...You know...there is more than one way to end up with a corrupted form...I have no proof, since these things happen very rarely, and that when you end up with a corrupted form, it's almost a mark of shame so people don't tell anyone...but my theory is this is what happens. It has nothing to do with how powerful the individual is...

It doesn't matter how powerful a demon is... it's just something that happens and they have no control over it. Even if Johnny hadn't accidentally drunk his blood on black moon, he still would have found his corrputed form in another way.

*look at Jake questioningly*

[Sgt Floyd]

Jake: Maybe, maybe not...wait...Black Moon? And he lived? That's a first...

 

[Yuna Leonhart]

I think he lived because it was his own blood he drank... We were attacked by a werecoyote and Johnny's face was bleeding after an attack. The wound didn't heal by itself and by the time I noticed it and healed him, some of his blood had already flowed into his mouth...

*sit next to them*
But I'm really glad he lived, I just wouldn't know what I would do without him...

Jake: I see...I'd rather not talk about mine...anyway...my theory is that this is the body's way of rejecting or accepting the corrupted form as the main form...human blood has powerful magical properties, and I think it speeds up the process...but like I said...I have no proof. It's only a theory. Theres a lot that doesn't make sense, like why getting married restores your hair color. I used to have brown hair...but since I never got married...marrying somone does seem to end the whole process...but for me, it ended on it's own. I thought maybe it was because of the scientists testing, but now I wonder if drinking human blood is what ended it...

Who knows what would end the process... but I guess the best way would be if Johnny and I are getting married as soon as possible, huh?

*feel something furry bumping my arm; look to my side and see Figaro*

*smile at him and take him into my arms, stroking his back*
