Kraken: No...sadly. To this day I live with that guilt. I was unable to prevent them from destroying the land either. Soon after the men attacked, they destroyed many of the sacred buildings and built an underground lair for themselves. With them living there, I had to remain in hiding, protecting the one thing that they had not found yet. The heart of the city. The giant orb that gave the city its power. The orb you now have safely hidden. When you found it, you misinterpreted its use. The orb has the ability to not only restore powers that were lost, but to also unlock someone's inner power. This made it very dangerous if the men found it. Every human has an inner monster and they can use the orb to unlock it. The people in the city were all humans...even born, they were humans. As a ritual, they would touch the orb. Since they were all aquatic creatures, the genes passed down from generation to generation.
