Steve: I know you didn't. But a roach demon's main attack is its acid spray...no one has ever encountered a roach demon and lived...except one person who was healed by a bat demon a few hundred years ago...*stares at Johnny*

What? Look...*makes hands briefly reptilian* See?

Steve: Reptiles don't squeak...

Well, does it matter how I was healed? I'm still alive and cute as ever, that's the important thing

And it doesn't matter that Johnny squeaked. He's a reptile, no other kind of demon.

Jaz: *twitches in her sleep*

Maybe we should tell him the truth...

*sits on counter and grows tail*

I'm a rat demon...see? I'm ashamed of it so I bought a charm at the black market that lets me turn into a lizard...but you know what? Maybe we can get over out shame together

*retracts tail*
