How fast do you think a dragon can run?

I think it depends on the dragon. A large one is probably slow but a Chinese dragon, one like Mushu, is probably swift.

I would try running, but I don't think that would be a great idea on sand...

It would be better if we find something like a large open field or an abandoned racetrack. Somewhere you can't be seen.
