I'm not sure what happened, except that an impostor as about to replace you. I met Hubert and Jaz in the MIB library and we discussed the apartment. Then the mpostor you came and, well I thought he was ou, I hugged him in greeting. It was only when he hesitated to hug me I realized something was wrong. The impostor wanted to talk to Jaz alone. I don't know what happened, except that an orb with her powers was outside, waiting for the scientists to pick it up.
Everything happened so fast, I could barely keep up. Apparently, the impostor was made to replce you but he disintegrated to dust. Then I returned to the apartment and found you and teleported us home.

An impostor...

...Yuna...the last thing I remember is turning into a wolf and tracking a scent through the apartment, ending up in my room. A sharp pain went through my chest and I briefly saw something black...and then...nothing...

*frown*
The impostor said something about having killed you and then having stolen your shadow powers...
At least we know those phoenix powers work...

 

[Sgt Floyd]

But I feel like I went swimming in a pit of lava...and I feel so weak I can barely move...

Maybe it's a side-effect from the phoenix powers? I wish I knew what to do...

What if...maybe I should try drinking blood...

I'll get it for you.

*get up and go to the kitchen*

*pour blood in a cup and return*

Here, but make sure it's not human blood.

*give Johnny the cup*

*takes the cup, barely able to hold it and tries to sit up*

*takes a few sips*

*watch him in concern*
How are you feeling?

I feel like I need more...

But I don't feel AS weak...
