Well, I can now teleport without it but when I feel like it, I still use it to turn into mist and fly around.

So then, let's find some books about a phoenix's rebirth power...

*walks about and picks up any books that might say something about phoenixes*

*goes and sits at a table*

*open the first book and start browsing*

*scans through books but not really finding anything that specifically goes into detail*

*browse through several books*

*after what felt like the 1000th book*

*opens the last book*

No...but knowing how things work the last book you look at is the book that has the answers...

*looks through the book*

Wait...

"Phoenixes are well known for their power to regenerate themselves after dying, making it nearly impossible to kill a phoenix. The circumstances of death determine how they will be reborn. If they die from old age, they will be reborn as a baby. If they die from sickness or something from within the body, they will usually be reborn at the age they died, but will need to be retaught everything. If they are murdered, they will be reborn at the age they died with all memories"

So, it's actually a combination of everything, it just depends on how one dies. But what I don't understand, if one dies from sickness would they have to be reaught everything they ever learned in life? Or everything that happened from a certain point, like a few months before one dies?

Uh...it doesn't really say...I find it hard to believe their brain would reset back to just being born but not their body...my guess is they have basic functions like knowing how to talk, read, write, that sort of thing, just memories and knowledge of important events are gone...:/

You almost died of something from within your body yesterday. So, if you really had died but had phoenix powers, you would have forgotten things like us being together or being with the MIB... or having turned me into a bat demon.

Is it worth it?

I mean, would you rather have a very confused me who you need to make remember everything, or a very dead me that doesn't exist?
