*get out of the bath after about 45 minutes*

*instead of going to our bedroom after getting dressed, I go downstairs and play Final Fantasy IX*

*arrive at the last save point of the game, save the game and then battle Deathguise*

*after the fight, I get one last chance to save the game; I do so and afterwards, I take a deep breath*

Okay, this is it. The last battle.

*engage Trance Kuja in battle; shouting big NOOOOOOs and cursing whenever his attacks leave my player party severely weakened*

*Zidane uses one last attack and defeats Trance Kuja*

YES!

*cutscene and then the very, definitely last battle; versus Necron*

*yelp whenever Necron uses Grand Cross and cheer loudly when I finally defeat him/it/whatever*

*watch the ending sequence, smiling and crying at the same time*

 

[Sgt Floyd]

*sudden voice snaps him out of it*

*still holding Spike, goes downstairs*

*sits next to Yuna*

*looks at her*

I...I know eventually we are going to want kids...but...you don't want kids NOW do you?

*holds Spike, nearly strangling him*

*look at Johnny when the end credits start*

I don't expect you to get me pregnant now. Earlier, I said "someday", meaning some time in the future; it could be in near future or in distant future. But not now.

*notice how tightly he holds Spike*

You might want to loosen your grip on Spike.

 

[Sgt Floyd]

*looks at Spike*

Oh...Sorry, boy...

*puts Spike down*

*isn't sure what to do so hugs Yuna*

Having kids is a scary thought...

*hug Johnny back*

I know it is and I'm actually scared too. But it's not like we have to have kids, if we have kids then it's because we want them.

*rest my head on his chest and look at the end screen, while the famous Final Fantasy Prelude plays in the background*

I didn't mean to; it's just, I was curious about baby bat demons and I couldn't help but ask more questions.

*stand up and turn off the PlayStation and TV and go back into Johnny's arms*
