Just One Person
By: BBF
One ripple, in a scattered pond,
Spread waves to someone fond.
A green leaf on an old tree,
Lets fall like snow drift its leaves.
A young boy imagination.
Sat and and thought of creations.
He wrote them down in various papers or books,
Hiding them away in secret places and nooks.
When he was older, he pulled them out and created again.
Green cloth, and ping pong balls, he made his old friend.
They started with a street, more friends they made,
Monsters, people, and children created a colorful parade.
And from there to a theater, with janitors, birds, and much more.
To Rainbow Connections and Being Green, to the lovable Magic Store!
A frog a pig, bears, whatevers, chickens, what-nots too!
Ranging from green purple to orange and blue.
Together a family, they made thoe world laugh.
But we all know good things don't really last.
The muppets lost their father, friend and creator.
They were a team without the mane player.
So long play mate, dear friend and child.
Only one word could sum up the time we shared: Wild.
Eventually the rain stops the waves, and leaves can never cling.
The tree became old and tired, the wind can no longer sing.
It shed its last leaf, And no more is the warm Spring.
Winter frost kills and makes cold.
Yet his smile never gets old.
What dies, always grows again.
We meet new people and make new friends.
Spring comes once more, new life always begins.
