Boober Fraggle

Here's the game's next level.

Guest & Number: Boober Fraggle (FR), Small marble 6.
Room/Area: Laundry Room.
Enemies: Sponge Mines: Brown sponge with four sharp points at the corners. These little guys detonate by themselves whenever they sense a foreign presence near them.
Rustbucket: Robot soldier with a water-filled mopbucket as its lower torso, rusted green upper body, and usually seen slinging a mop around in one of his hands.
Laundry Bin Creature: This creature prefers to hide inside a bin of clothes, though few parts of him are visible. His horns protrude through the clothes heaped on top of him, his eyes and green medallion are seen under the brim of the bin, and his claws come out through the netlike slots of the bin itself.
Octopoids: Small octopus robots of a pink-beige color with clear, rounded heads and wirey tentacles.
Whirlpools: Small, swirling portals of clear white water present in the underwater portions of this room.
Spinning Vortex: A silver nosecone with grayish-brown arms which creates an immense spinning force in the center of one of the underwater locks.
Boss Ghost: Washer Ghost: A female ghost with a light gray washboard where her stomach should be, dark gray hair, wet and tattered clothes, and mismatched socks covering her feet. She will fire the socks as miniature missiles , a static cling attack which works much like a magnetic field drawing her opponent close enough to grind against the washboard in the middle of her body, and a tidal wave of tears that wash away what's in her path.

Level Layout: Boober enters the room through a black door surrounded by blue-grayish bricks into a laundrette featuring grayish-white washed walls and light brown ceilings, floors, and shelves. Scrolling from left to right, you'll find a Rustbucket in the way. This guy twirls the mop in his hands, though you chiefly see the mop's head going round in circles. Once you approach him, the robot will throw the mop in your direction and start twirling a new mop. Jump over the one that was just thrown and again over the newly thrown mop, firing away at the robot's body until he's destroyed. When on land, Sponge Mines crawl along the floor in order to get close enough to do some damage upon exploding. Avoid this explosion by jumping over the sponge, thus allowing it to crawl forward until it's out of sight and no longer a threat. Another Rustbucket greets you before the intended drop to the next part of the level. After destroying it, jump over to the shelf which will help you descend. A bottle of cleaning detergent is placed on both shelves though it poses no threat to you. The Laundry Bin Creature awaits you following the first drop. This creature will either grab and slash away at you with its claws, or launch bunched-up rolls of clothing. Avoid both its attacks and keep torching at the medallion. The path leading to the next drop is cleared once this clothing creature is defeated. Use the shelf like you did during the previous drop to reach a new section with crawling Sponge Mines and Rustbuckets. At the end of this hall, you'll see three small holes in the wall from which a stream issues forth. You can't fall straight down the stream, unless you wish to be impailed by the spikes below. Instead, make use of differently sized soapy bubbles to carefully continue down the stream. Jump off from the last bubble to the basement floor or you'll land in the spikes anyway, and you'll have to start the bubble ride all over again! A step-building made of doozersticks leads up to the opened washing machine where you'll find the next means of travel. One of the six soccer socks turns into a small submarine, making it available as Boober's next transport. The cockpit closes over him and the candle flaregun attaches itself onto the cockpit as a fully rotational weapon. Clear green-yellowish water fills the inner locks of the washing machine area. Starting at the far left, the submarine ride will go forward through the first section filled with Octopoids and quietly floating Sponge Mines before dropping to the second section. This second section has Whirlpools in the corners and the Spinning Vortex in the center. Your best bet is to make the circuit trip around the vortex and come out on the other side as quickly as possible. If that's not achievable, then burn away at the nosecone until it's been damaged to the point that it can't spin anymore. Then the submarine will travel up through a shaft with more Sponge Mines or Whirlpools and into the last section, where Octopoides impeed your progress once again. The soccer sock will emerge onto the surface shore of the opened washing machine at the far end of the basement, where another doozerstick step-building provides a way down from these machines. One last Rustbucket blocks the way up the stairs that lead out of the basement. Climb the stairs and reach the descending platform which takes you to the boss ghost's chamber. Now you're ready to start the fight against the Washer Ghost! Dodge the sock missiles thrown straight at you and resist the static cling by walking away from its pull. When the wave of tears sweeps the floor, just jump up to the higher shelf and fire away at the ghostly being. The ghost leaves behind the washboard that served as its host body when dissipating into nothingness, and the marble 6 which Boober picks up before the platform rises back to its original position. With his marble 6 in hand, Boober passes through the opened door to return to the main gathering room, thus meeting his friends.

The Killer of Threads, the Count.
