This may sound kinda wierd but I found a link about a puppet that somehow a complete rip-off for this guy. it even tells you how to build one your own. just thought I give you a heads up.

Consumer Monster has been around for QUITE a few years now... I think I first stumbled upon the Consumer Monster site back in late 2003, early 2004, and thought the exact same thing about him being simply a yellow version of Cookie Monster with dollar-sign eyes instead of googly eyes.

I think he's supposed to be a yellow version of Cookie Monster with dollar-sign eyes and it's meant to be an activist parody, kind of like when SNL does a Muppet skit.
