Jim, just wanted to add my congratulations to you and all involved in the creation of the Bohemian Rhapsody video. It is truly brilliant, funny, and it even has a bit of heart, doesn't it? Very nice. I showed it to a few friends, who enjoyed it, and told someone at work about it, who was very impressed and also really enjoyed the other viral videos. The bit with Kermit at the end was a stroke of genius. Awesome work!
... Oh, and I do have a question. I've thought about this question before, can't remember if I actually asked it or not. Anyhoo, after noticing the return of Beauregard in recent online videos (which is awesome), I am reminded of Jerry Juhl's feeling that the character was difficult to write for, because he had no desires and stuff like that. However, I also noticed that in The Great Muppet Caper, Beauregard acts as the hero, grappling with Nicky Holiday while the other Muppets are off tossing the baseball diamond around. He is also a "hero" to the rats in an episode of The Muppet Show. So, I guess my question is, have you ever thought of exploring that aspect of his personality more? His herois side? Does he long to be a hero? Or is he oblivious to the fact that he is, and it's just part of his inner sense of justice that he acts the hero/defender of rats?
...Does that make sense?
