What about "It Ain't Me Babe" (originally by Bob Dylan) covered by the Turtles?

Here's one of the most AWESOME 1980's anime openings ever, if not the most awesome.

And now here's some passionless, flat singers destroying it.

The song is already dead.

Pretty much any cover that's done by Celtic Thunder is better than the original. Here are some of my favorites:

I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For:

Whiskey in the Jar:

Hallelujah:

The Boys are Back in Town:

and Caledonia:

And check out their version of Amazing Grace:

Most groups don't even bother touching Queen's music because no one can even come close to what they created nearly forty years ago. But I have to admit, in spite of the backing track borrowed from the original recording, this is one h*ll of a cover!

One of the worst covers of a song I've heard in a long time has to be Emily osments once upon a dream... Mary Costa must of facepalmed so hard when she heard that..

Phil Collins's cover of, "True Colors," is totally a hundred times better than Cyndi Lauper's version.

And I know I get flak for this one, but I also much prefer Smash Mouth's rockin' cover of, "I'm a Believer," over The Monkees' original.

Best Cover: 'Til There Was You from the Music Man
I can tolerate the Beatles for covering songs from musicals.

Worst Cover: "Money" (That's What I Want) (originally performed by Barrett Strong)
Noise! Garage rock, anyone?
I prefer the original of this song. Leave Motown alone! Sheesh!
