As some of you may know two years ago I met Steve and I was devasted when the photo I took of him and I accidentally got deleted and left me mortified, and how at when the Muppets were at HMV he was really cool and nice to me and since then I've always wanted to meet Steve again to get a photo with him. With the Muppets Premiere on Monday I thought it was going to be possible to get a quick selfie... But this wasn't to be, although the letter I'd written to him I was able to give to a Disney associate and she seemed very trustworthy and sincere so I was glad of that.

Tuesday I had a day off to get food and drink in my body after being at the Prem all day and I knew that yesterday (Wednesday) was when they were going to film Alan Carrs Chattyman so I got my gear together iphone, stool, wore my *Kermit the Frog onesie, T-Shirt, took up my Kermit the Frog Muppet and for several hours I was at the London Studios where they tape Chattyman, the weather was typical British weather, sunny, snowy. rain, rain, cold. And there was a Girl next to me who was good company. As time went on I made a kind of pact with God (something I sometimes do that IF the weather calmed down & I was able to get a pic with Steve then I'd go to Synagogue and give up Bacon, Ham- SORRY MISS PIGGY IF YOU'RE WATCHING lol

About six oclock and waiting most of the day at the railings (as thats where we were) we saw some of the Disney people come in then we were told that the Guests have already come in and been in for ages. "****!" I thought "Well thats a day wasted up here in London, never mind." As I was getting my stuff together, the Girl I was with went off to see if she could see the audience go in... She then came back and FURIOUSLY beckoned me over, I, with all my stuff and walking quickly as fast as I could mumbled under my breath like "What does she want?" she (who I'd told I was only there for the Muppets some hours earlier) said "They've got SPARE TICKETS for the show!"

I gave the nice guy my name, phone number, email address and was given a wristband, then was escorted into the London Studios and into the Studio itself I sat down and couldn't believe my friggin luck! (I was WAY at the back in the back row)

The warm up man was nice, and did his stint to keep the crowd warm and enthusiastic. The first guests came out and were interviewed by Alan Carr (obviously I can't say much about what I saw because we were told not to and I feel I OWE Alan Carr, ITV, Disney a freakin- ginormous- anyways I won't spoil it.

Will say (as this isn't spoiling anything) that I saw Steve  and they put up huge massive thonking boards when they put a certain setpiece in place. The warm up man started chatting about the Muppets and asked who else liked them? Thats when I whooped and waved. he then comes over to me after saying "Is that a Kermit onesie?" and then asked me to stand up, I then picked up my Kermit Muppet (a member of the Studio personnel told me when I was first in to not hold my Kermit Muppet as it could distract Alan etc) and waved it "He's even got a baby Kermit!" to which the entire audience looked my way.

The piece with Kermit & Constantine! BRILLIANT! (You'll see why on Friday)

At one point Steve was on his stool and walked with Alan Carr to... Was freakin awesome see Steve performing Kermit like that.

After A duet the Studio lights came on and we were all told "Thats all folks" or something to that effect, one of the Studio Guys from behind me asked if I'd enjoyed the show and I was like "Yeah definitely." and was all ready to get my stuff and go.................................................. Thats when IT happened.

The lady from the Prem, the Disney lady who took my letter... Came up the steps (by this time the audience were filing out) "Richard? Are you Richard?" she called out? "Yes!" I replied wondering what she (A Disney lady and clearly part of The Muppet Party) "Steve wants to meet you."

I cannot even BEGIn to descibe the feelings that went through me. Cos every time I try to remember I get quite emotional. So, I made my way as quickly and feverishly and trying not to freak. Down the stairs of the Audience seating... And THErE on the Studio floor... Was Steve and Matt ready to greet me

Can;t remember half the stuff I said but OMG Steve was SO freakin nice to me. His smile never wavered (no one/Disney/Studio staff etc interupted) as you can imagine there were a BILLION things i wanted to say to him) he said how he saw me at the Prem, how he saw me in the TV audience, when I said to him directly how I felt bad about being so touched by talking to Kermit and when I was overcome with emotion... He said how it happens a lot with people

The Disney lady asked if I had a phone, (P.S. when we went in to the Studio we were told to turn our phones off) there was a lady from my neck of the woods who handed her phone to the Disney lady and so Steve, me, this lady stood there on the Studio floor ready for the pic. I then asked Steve if he could Perform my Kermit Muppet (he was MORE than happy to do this) the photo was about to be taken and I asked Matt to be in the pic. Disney lady took a number of pics. After wards I asked Steve if there was going to be a third one.... I took one more quick pic of Steve Kermit and I then we had one last hug.

I am telling you. You are the luckiest person that I've ever met. You don't get a chance to meet Steve Whitmere and Matt Vogel every day. Man. this is a once in a lifetime opportunity (for you it's twice in a lifetime. LUCKY!).

I have a question to ask you though. Were you actually able to meet Kermit The Frog after the taping?

I like to think that it was one heck of an awesome belated Birthday Present/Luck of the Irish thing as my Birthday was on St. Paddys Day

At that point Kermit and Constantine went to bed. Was a long night for them, especially Constantine. And in all honesty I did meet Kermit because without sounding at all corny... AndI know I'm laying myself on the line here saying this... Theres so much Kermit in Steve its uncanny.

I apologize for the double posting, but I am honestly lost for words completely. This must have been the best thing that has EVER happened to you, and a pure taste of heaven for a Muppet fan! I just know that you enjoyed each and every second with our beloved Mr. Whitmire, and I am so happy for you!

Believe me, I can't get over it myself. As you're lost for words now I was lost for words when I met Steve, in fact if I'm honest with you I actually had to sit down on the audience seating in Studio 1 because this was MEGA.

A lot of good things have happened to me over the last 38 years (Memorable Family/Friends moments aside) this TOPS meeting Mr. Spielberg a few years ago, as nice as he (Spielberg) was to me- the experience on Wednesday with Steve and Matt TRULY tops that

Each and every second with Mr. Whitmire will be one I will never forget. *Hugs You*
