I know you're not going to believe this now, but you'll actually get used to it.

I know, because I didn't believe it when I was told the same thing when I first started driving four years ago.

I guess I will, but that was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life!

It's harrowing for certain, and I'll admit to this day, I'm still apprehensive about getting behind the wheel. I mean, I don't know what Texas is like, but Tennessee has some of the worst drivers. In fact, just today, there was almost an incident in a parking lot: after I had backed out of my space, the person in the space directly across from me start backing out and came within inches of hitting me - we both stayed there, waiting for the other to make a move, untl the other driver finally pulled back into their space so I could finish backing out.

My sister and I went out to eat at a restaurant called Fuddrucker's, and we had burgers and fries, and then we went to Barnes and Noble, and I spent what was left of my birthday money there ($150). Three cat books (of course), and the "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" series (what can I say? I enjoy children's books).

Same, but they are all in Massachusetts. Though one isn't too far from my house where I live.

It is a little bizarre for someone to throw you out on the road when you have no idea what you're doing; I hope you at least started in a vacant lot or something.

Yield to pedestrians. That's why I failed one of my tests.

I had to take the test three times and thought I passed the first two with flying colors but was gobsmacked when they told me I failed.

Yeah, no worries, we were in a mostly empty high school parking lot the whole time. I was learning how to stay straight and turn corners, and all that.

But am I sad/mad? Not really. I'll just try again.
