So for the very first time ever, I went into a local pharmacy that replaced an old video store I used to love going to when I was a kid (one of my fondest memories is renting A Goofy Movie there), which I think took its place in like 1999/2000, I don’t really recall too well, but I was disappointed when it closed down, because I was genuinely curious to be in that building again and see how it looked….. it was just sad…… completely sad. And one thing I really hated was the fact that the stairs that used to be accessible when it was a video store (cause I do remember walking up and down them as a kid) you can no longer have access to because the counter is right in front of them.
Honestly I miss having access to three video stores close to my house, including a Movie Gallery store that shut down in 2006/7 I believe. It’s just a reminder of how streaming is taking over everything physical now.
